Michael Raffl will be back in the Flyers' lineup on Wednesday after spending six straight contests as a healthy scratch. Raffl actually missed seven consecutive games, but the first one was due to the flu. He understood that the Flyers weren't likely to make significant lineup changes while they were winning. He has an assist in 11 games this season.

Michael Raffl was a healthy scratch on Friday. Raffl had missed two games earlier in the week as he was battling the flu but was healthy enough to play on Friday. Coach Craig Berube went with the same lineup that won both games but with the Flyers losing 3-2 in a shootout, do not be surprised to see Raffl back in the lineup this weekend. He has only one assist in 11 games so we obviously cannot recommend him in any fantasy pool unless you have to take someone who played in the Swedish Second Division at some point in their career.

Michael Raffl (flu) won't play on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Raffl also missed Tuesday's contest due to the illness. He has an assist in 11 games this season.

Michael Raffl (flu) wasn't on the ice with the Flyers Tuesday morning. Raffl also missed Monday's practice. He should be regarded as doubtful for Tuesday's game against Ottawa.

Michael Raffl didn't participate in Monday's practice due to the flu. Raffl traveled with the Flyers to Ottawa for Tuesday's contest, but he should be considered questionable for that game. He has an assist and eight penalty minutes in 11 games this season.

Michael Raffl needs to work on his defensive game in order to get more playing time. Raffl has been getting playing time on the first line, but Max Talbot has occasionally taken Raffl's place because of his defensive abilities. There's a lot Flyers coach Craig Berube likes about Raffl, but he added that there's also plenty of room for improvement. Raffl logged just 9:18 minutes on Saturday and has averaged 12:27 minutes overall.

Michael Raffl's assist on Saturday was the first point of his NHL career. Raffl was moved to the top line this week alongside Vincent Lecavalier and Claude Grioux so he is definitely worth looking at in deeper pools. The Austrian was undrafted as an 18-year-old but has some grit to his game.

Michael Raffl has been bumped up to the Flyers' top line. Raffl is projected to play alongside Vincent Lecavalier and Claude Giroux. Normally we'd say this is a big opportunity for Raffl, and it is, but it also might be a very short one. The Flyers are 1-7-0 with an a horribly struggling offense, so if the trio don't show chemistry out of the gate then this now combination might not even survive until the end of Thursday's contest.

Philadelphia has brought up Michael Raffl. Raffl was very close to earning a spot with the Flyers out of training camp, but he ended up starting the season in the minors. With AHL Adirondack, he had one goal and two assists in two games prior to he recall. The Flyers are in need of reinforcements after losing Vincent Lecavalier and Scott Hartnell to injury, so Raffl and Tye McGinn were summoned

The Philadelphia Flyers have sent Michael Raffl to the minors. Raffl has could develop into a solid NHL player, but he doesn't have any experience playing professional hockey in North America. After excelling in the Swedish second division last season, it makes sense for him to make the transition in the minors.
