Frolik (illness) won't travel with the team for Tuesday's game versus the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik didn't participate in Monday's practice, and he'll miss his second straight game. The severity of the illness isn't clear, but he has until Saturday's matchup versus the Penguins to get back to full health.

Frolik (illness) will not suit up for Sunday's game against Toronto, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik didn't participate in practice over the weekend and his lingering illness will hold him out of Sunday's game. The 31-year-old winger has a goal and two points in 15 games since being acquired by the Sabres. His next chance to play will be Tuesday in Ottawa.

Frolik (illness) didn't participate in Saturday's practice, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik should be considered questionable for Sunday's matchup versus the Maple Leafs, and his status could become more clear during morning skate. It looks like Marcus Johansson (upper body) could be ready in time, so he'd simply swap places with Frolik if Frolik can't go.

Frolik is in the midst of a 10-game point drought.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik started out his tenure in Buffalo with a goal and an assist through his first five appearances. Since then, he's gone 10 contests without hitting the scoresheet. There was some optimism that the trade could inflate Frolik's fantasy value, but it appears to have had the opposite outcome. He sits at 12 points through 53 outings.

Frolik potted a goal and led the team with five shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik's goal came shorthanded and went into an empty net in the third period. He's up to two points in five games with the Sabres, earning minutes in all situations. The 31-year-old has three shorthanded points and 12 points overall in 43 contests between the Sabres and Flames this season.

Frolik picked up an assist in Sunday's win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
In his third game with the club, Frolik got his first point wearing the blue and gold. Thus far he's taken five shots on goal, four blocks, and five hits. While he's playing on the second line, he hasn't seen any time on the power play yet. His fantasy value will be limited until he can earn some time on the man advantage.

Frolik went scoreless in Thursday's loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
While Frolik didn't crack the scoresheet, he did see 16:44 of ice time. It's his highest total since Nov. 21 which was also against the Blues. He didn't see any time on the man advantage, but the Sabres only had one power play -- a high-sticking call drawn by Frolik. He put up three hits and two blocks with two shots on goal. Three hits isn't a high total, but it's the most Frolik's thrown in a game this season.

Frolik is expected to make his Sabres debut in Thursday's tilt with the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik was dealt to the Sabres nearly a week ago, but he didn't practice with the team right away due to visa issues. With that resolved, he's expected to join Buffalo's top six and play on a line with Marcus Johansson and Conor Sheary. Frolik had just 10 points in 38 games with Calgary, but he only averaged 11:56 of ice time per game, none of which was on the man advantage. With an expanded role in the blue and gold, Frolik should see an uptick in production.

Frolik appears to have resolved his visa issues following his trade to Buffalo six days ago and is expected to practice Wednesday,
EDGE Analysis
Frolik wasn't seeing time on Calgary's power play before the deal, but he's got plenty of experience on special teams and Buffalo's power play is poor, ranking 22nd in the league and even worse in recent times. With Jeff Skinner and Victor Olofsson on the shelf, there's a chance Frolik sees power-play time right away. There's also room in the top six at even strength, though we'll see how the Sabres shuffle up their lines ahead of Thursday's game in St. Louis.

The Flames traded Frolik to the Sabres on Thursday in exchange for a 2020 fourth-round pick.
EDGE Analysis
With the Sabres dealing with a plethora of injuries to their forward group, they chose to acquire solid depth in the form of Frolik. The 31-year-old was palatable in his bottom-six role with the Flames, potting five goals and 10 points through the first 31 games of the 2019-20 campaign. The Sabres will roll with 11 forwards for Thursday's game against Edmonton, but it's likely Frolik will step into a bottom-six role with his new team for Saturday's game against Florida.
