Lagace was waived by the Lightning on Friday, per CapFriendly.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace posted an .828 save percentage in two appearances with the Lightning last season and a .910 mark through 36 games with AHL Syracuse. He should spend most of the year in the minors barring any goaltender injuries in Tampa Bay.

Lagace signed a one-year deal with Tampa Bay on Sunday, per PuckPedia.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace posted a solid 2.31 GAA and .910 save percentage in 36 games with AHL Syracuse last season. However, he allowed 10 goals in his two NHL appearances. The 29-year-old should fill a depth role with the organization again for the 2022-23 campaign.

Lagace was demoted to the minors Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace was deemed expendable after both Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols. Still, Lagace could still be brought back up to the taxi squad from time to time this season in order to provide the Bolts with some emergency depth between the pipes.

Lagace was removed from the Lightning's main roster Saturday, per Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace was displaced upon the return of Andrei Vasilevskiy from the NHL's COVID-19 protocols. In his one NHL appearance this season, the Quebec-born netminder took home the win with a 4.14 GAA and a .871 save percentage.

Lagace made 21 saves on 27 shots in two periods of play Thursday in a 9-3 loss to the Panthers. He was replaced by Hugo Alnefelt.
EDGE Analysis
It was an awful Thursday -- 15 of the 18 Panthers' skaters scored at least one point. Lagace's performance in the AHL had been poor this season, but he did toil on the Pens' taxi squad last season. At this point, Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott can't get back out of COVID-19 protocols fast enough.

Lagace will protect the road goal in Thursday's game versus the Panthers, per the NHL media site.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace allowed four goals on 31 shots but earned the win over the Canadiens on Tuesday. He'll face a much tougher opponent in the Panthers for his second start of the season, which makes Lagace a risky option in fantasy.

Lagace made 27 saves in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace got the job done in what was just his third NHL appearance since the start of the 2018-19 season, though he was 20 seconds from losing in regulation before Corey Perry scored a dramatic goal to tie the score at four apiece. This was the first NHL game after a holiday break that was extended due to the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases, and the virus is still very much a factor, as Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott are both in the league's COVID-19 protocols. Until either of the team's top two netminders returns, the Lightning's crease will be Lagace's to defend.

Lagace will be elevated to the active roster and get the starting nod against the Canadiens at home Tuesday, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lagace steps into the crease as both Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott are currently in the league's COVID-19 protocols. Barring any change in either player's status, the 28-year-old Lagace may be tasked with defending the cage versus Florida on Thursday as well. Considering Lagace has logged just two NHL games over the past four seasons, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting much out of the Quebec native.

Lagace was recalled to the taxi squad from AHL Syracuse on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
With Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott in COVID-19 protocols, Lagace could be promoted to the active roster for Tuesday's game against Montreal. He's sporting a 3.86 GAA and an .861 save percentage through seven AHL games this season.

Lagace is one of three AHL goalies who could get game action Tuesday against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Amir Miftakhov, Hugo Alnefelt and Lagace have all toiled in the AHL this season, and Lagace has had the lowest save percentage of all three (.861). He does have taxi squad experience with the Pens from last season, so he might get the nod to start despite his poor production.
