Tkachuk has impressed in his rookie season, posting 31 points in 49 games thus far.
EDGE Analysis
The teenager has a real shot at cracking the 50-point plateau should he continue to produce at his current pace. Tkachuk has been a force in his first NHL campaign in other areas, as well, as he currently has as many PIM as shots (92), in addition to 52 hits and an average power-play time of 2:05 -- where he's racked up nearly a third of his points (10). Owners in keeper leagues should be ecstatic, while others in medium and shallower formats may want to take a gander to see if he's available for the stretch run.

Tkachuk became the first rookie this season with a nine-game point streak after he assisted on a Michael Frolik goal in Saturday's win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Quite the run for the youngster, who now has seven goals and 25 points in 38 games. While Tkachuk is only 19-years-old, the 6'2" winger is already becoming a fantasy asset with his 74 PIM and consistent offensive production. His top-six role and recent hot streak making him worth owning in most leagues right now.

Tkachuck recorded two assists -- one on the power play -- during Monday's win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a solid rookie season for Tkachuk, as he's posted six goals, 17 points, 54 shots and 60 PIM through 30 games. His cross-category production makes him a solid fantasy asset in most leagues because of his peripheral contributions. Keeping tabs on his offensive numbers is advised because there is upside for Tkachuk to warrant universal ownership if he starts hitting the scoresheet more frequently.

Tkachuk racked up three helpers in Saturday's blowout win over Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Tkachuk only saw 13:29 of ice time, but he made the most of it, helping the Flames to their sixth straight win. He is playing on the second power-play unit, so it shouldn't be too hard for him to continue producing. The youngster has six goals and 15 points in 27 games and has also helped fantasy goers with 49 PIM. His bottom-six role right now isn't ideal from a fantasy perspective right now, but the Flames are surging and he's finding ways to contribute, so he's worth owning in some deeper leagues.

Tkachuk registered a power-play assist and took two minor penalties during Friday's win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie isn't going to move mountains offensively, but he's up to 49 PIM for the year, so his 11 points -- six goals -- are nice contributions next to his PIM total. Tkachuk also owns huge upside, which isn't a common characteristic for players who frequent the sin bin. He's a rock-solid winger in leagues including PIM.

Tkachuk notched a goal and an assist while receiving a team-high 3:04 of power-play time during Monday's loss to the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie is a fringe fantasy own in deeper fantasy settings, and his 21 PIM highlight his ability to help in the peripheral category. Tkachuk's increased role is helpful, but the Flames aren't a strong team, and his five goals and four assists through 17 games isn't far from go-to production. He might be best utilized as a contrarian flier in daily contests instead of a nightly starter in seasonal leagues.

Tkachuk skated 17:08 and deposited his fourth goal in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime victory against Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was a thing of beauty, as Tkachuk fired the puck laterally from a seemingly impossible angle, right off the back of Mike Smith's helmet and into the Arizona net. It was also a big one, tying the game 1-1 in the third period. After two games out of the lineup with a wrist injury, Tkachuk's come back with his two biggest minute totals of the year, so he's a clear beneficiary of Johnny Gaudreau's finger injury. This year's No. 6 overall pick has the opportunity to take a big step forward in fantasy value now, and owners should be watching intently.

Tkachuk (wrist) is expected to suit up against Minnesota on Tuesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The FAN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tkachuk has missed the Flames last two games with a wrist injury suffered during practice. Prior to the injury, the winger had registered five points in his previous seven contests since being benched Oct. 22 and 24. It seems coach Glen Gulutzan knew the exact right buttons to push with the teenage as he has clearly responded. Whether he can carry that momentum through to Tuesday remains to be seen, but owners may want to give the youngster a look in most fantasy formats.

Tkachuk (wrist) is back at practice Sunday after missing the last two games, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a good sign's for the youngster's chances of playing in Tuesday's tilt with Minnesota. He got off to a great start for such an inexperienced player, scoring six points in 12 games to start the year.

Tkachuk (wrist) will miss another game Saturday, but he remains day-to-day, Pat Steinberg of 960 The FAN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tkachuk was injured in Wednesday's practice and couldn't give it a go for the next game against the Stars, Still, this ailment doesn't appear to be serious, which is especially fortunate since the rookie had been picking up the pace offensively with six points in seven games spilling into November. Look for newly recalled winger Garnet Hathaway to slot into a bottom-six role with Tkachuk aiming to round out his recovery.
