Duchene and Dante Fabbro (upper body) are both out for the contest. Expect Yakov Trenin to enter the lineup in a bottom-six role, while Craig Smith could be in line for second-line minutes Saturday. The Predators play in Anaheim on Sunday -- it's unclear if Duchene will be well enough to play in time for that contest.

Held to a single point in his previous eight contests, it was nice to see Duchene find his way onto the scoresheet in Thursday's game, even if it came in a loss. His assist on Ryan Ellis' power-play goal in the second period was Duchene's first power-play point in 17 games, dating back to Nov. 7.

Duchene needed just 57 seconds to finally snap a five-game goal drought, which was his second-longest as a member of the Predators. He also ended a four-game point drought, as Duchene's production has waned of late. The offseason acquisition has just one multi-point game since Nov. 4.
