McTavish logged two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Kraken.
EDGE Analysis
McTavish set up the Ducks' first two goals of the season, feeding linemates Troy Terry and Ryan Strome for the tallies. That trio combined for eight points in the contest, and it's encouraging to see McTavish find chemistry early in the year. The 19-year-old put up three points in a nine-game sample last year. He's poised for big things as the third overall pick from 2021, so he should be an easy hold in keeper and dynasty formats, and he could play his way onto the fantasy radar in redraft leagues with a hot October.

McTavish (undisclosed) is expected to play on Sunday in exhibition action against Los Angeles, Lisa Dillman of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
McTavish had been dealing with an undisclosed ailment, but it wasn't expected to keep him on the shelf for very long. He provided two goals and one assist in nine NHL outings last season. He is expected to become a regular for the Ducks this year.

McTavish is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but coach Dallas Eakins doesn't expect it to be a long-term issue, Lisa Dillman of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
McTavish is expected to have a full-time role with the Ducks in 2022-23 after picking up two goals and three points through nine top-level appearances as an 18-year-old last season, so the team will undoubtedly proceed with caution with the No. 3 overall pick from the 2021 Entry Draft. Check back for another update on McTavish's status once he's cleared for game action.

McTavish was assigned to the OHL's Peterborough Petes on Saturday, Jeff Marek of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
McTavish played pretty well during his nine-game stay with the Ducks, picking up two goals and an assist, but the Ducks have evidently decided that logging big minutes in the OHL will be the best thing for the 18-year-old forward's development. As an added benefit, Anaheim will avoid burning a year of McTavish's entry-level deal by shipping him off before he's logged 10 NHL appearances. McTavish will likely dominate in the OHL, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him establish himself as a full-time player for Anaheim in 2021-22.

McTavish scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-4 win over the Kraken.
EDGE Analysis
McTavish had the only tally for either team in the first period, but the offense didn't stay quiet for long after that. The 18-year-old is up to two goals, one assist, seven shots on net and a plus-4 rating while mainly playing in a third-line role. While he's been effective so far, it's unclear if the Ducks will keep him on the roster after his ninth game -- they could slide his entry-level contract if they reassign him after that time.

McTavish (lower body) was activated from injured reserve and will play Sunday against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, the 18-year-old forward will suit up for the first time since Oct. 18 after missing the last nine games. McTavish tallied two points while averaging 11:31 of ice time in three games prior to the injury. He'll enter the lineup in a middle-six role Sunday.

McTavish (lower body) was recalled from AHL San Diego on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
McTavish has been with the Gulls on a conditioning assignment, so it's likely he's over the injury and will play Sunday against visiting St. Louis. Still, fantasy managers keen on rostering the 18-year-old should wait for news formally clearing him of his injury before inserting him into their lineups.

EDGE Analysis
McTavish hasn't played since Oct. 18 while dealing with a lower-body injury that landed him on injured reserve. The 18-year-old forward will likely be back with the Ducks once his conditioning assignment is finished.
