Jones will start in goal Thursday night against the visiting Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Jones is preparing to face an Anaheim team with a road record of 9-10-0 this season. Conversely, San Jose's chief netminder owns a 5-3-1 record, 2.61 GAA and .910 save percentage in December, and history suggests that he'll slip a bit further in January. Still, head coach Peter DeBoer has been reluctant to render backup Aaron Dell anything more than a once-per-week streaming option.

Jones stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
His up-and-down December continues -- Jones is now 5-3-1 in 10 appearances on the month with a 2.61 GAA and .910 save percentage. That's actually a step up from his performance through the first two months of the season, but still not up the standards he established in his first three campaigns with the Sharks, suggesting further improvement could be on the way.

Jones will start in goal Saturday afternoon against the visiting Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Jones had a forgettable performance against the Jets on Thursday, as he coughed up four goals on 24 shots at home, but Sharks coach Peter DeBoer must be confident that the B.C. native can get back on track against his former team. After all, the Kings are last in the league in scoring at 2.23 goals per game.

Jones stopped 20 of 24 shots Thursday, taking a 5-3 loss to Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
This wasn't the kind of showing that was expected from the Sharks' netminder, given the low number of shots the Jets got to the net. Usually, when you can hold Winnipeg under 25 shots, you've got a great chance at victory, but Jones wasn't up to the task tonight and wasted a 44-shot effort from his offense. Jones really hasn't played well in two of his past three games, but he'll get a chance to make up for it this weekend with the Kings and Coyotes up next.

Jones will defend the net as the home starter versus the Jets on Thursday, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets are ranked sixth in the league by means of averaging 3.20 goals per game on the road, so Jones will have to bring his A-game at the Shark Tank. He did pitch his 20th shutout last time out, blanking host Minnesota with 26 saves, so poolies that put a lot of stock in the hot-hand approach should consider taking a chance with Jones on a hefty 12-game slate.

Jones made 26 saves in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
The shutout could not have come at a better time for Jones, who with the victory picked up his 14th win of the season. Tuesday's performance hopefully gets the Sharks' netminder back on track after he was pulled in in his last start. The veteran backstop will see his record move to 14-7-3 with a 2.81 GAA and .901 save percentage, and he should be in net when San Jose faces the Jets at home Thursday.

Jones will patrol the crease in Tuesday's road game against the Wild, Jessi Pierce of The Athletic Minnesota reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was awful in his last appearances Sunday against Chicago, surrendering three goals on just four shots before being replaced by Aaron Dell in the first period of the eventual 7-3 victory. He'll look to bounce back and pick up his 14th win of the campaign in a difficult road matchup with a Minnesota team that's averaging 3.65 goals per game at home this season, fifth in the NHL.

Jones was pulled from Sunday's game against the Blackhawks upon allowing three goals on four shots through 13:53 of crease time. He was replaced by Aaron Dell, who ended up securing the win.
EDGE Analysis
Sharks coach Peter DeBoer's decision to have Dell replace Jones ended up being a wise one, as the backup was flawless in relief -- he picked up 16 saves and the team rallied behind Dell with five unanswered goals. You could say that Jones was due for a rough outing since he entered the contest with four wins in six December appearances after maintaining an uninspiring .882 save percentage through the first two months of the season. The night belonged to Dell, but Jones still has a good amount of job security as the No. 1 option for the Sharks.

Jones will draw the start for Sunday's road tilt against the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Not much of a surprise here as Jones has started six of the last seven games for San Jose. During that span, the 6-foot-4 netminder has a 4-2-0 record with a strong 2.35 GAA and .923 save percentage. Despite a bit of a down yer overall, Jones should still be trusted in most fantasy formats.

Jones will be between the pipes for Thursday's home clash with Dallas, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones is 0-2-0 in his matchups with the Stars this season, while posting a .865 save percentage and 3.62 GAA. Considering the Sharks are allowing a mere 29.0 shot per game (fifth fewest in the league), it could be another light workload for the netminder.
