While Jones has been far from dominant this season, he's pieced together a much better campaign on home ice this season. The veteran netminder carries an 18-4-4 record with a 2.61 GAA and a .904 save percentage into Thursday's contest, when he'll field shots from a Canadiens club riding a three-game road winning streak. Montreal has averaged five goals per game in that three-game span, so Jones may not be a daily candidate as anything more than a contrarian play.

Jones stopped 28 of 30 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Jones' performances have been a mixed bag this season, but this one was strong enough to earn the win. His record improved to 31-13-5 with a 2.93 GAA and a .897 save percentage. Jones retains his fantasy value by playing for the Sharks, which helps him earn lots of wins, but his ratios are on pace to be a career worst. The Sharks don't play again until Thursday when they welcome the Montreal Canadiens, so Jones will be well rested should he be tabbed for that start.

Coming off of a pair of rough outings, having allowed four goals each to the Bruins and Blue Jackets, Jones returns to the cage still in search of his 30th win of the season. His numbers this season are markedly better on home ice, however, with the veteran netminder posting a 16-4-4 record to go along with a 2.62 GAA and a .903 save percentage. While he can't be counted on to post a shutout often, owning just one all season, Jones is generally a strong bet to win on home ice, which brings some added value in daily formats.

The 29-year-old is having a rough couple of weeks. Jones has coughed up at least four goals in four of his last six starts, going 2-3-1 with a 3.46 GAA and .877 save percentage over that stretch -- and that's despite posting a shutout in Pittsburgh on Feb. 21. The Sharks are off until Friday, so Jones will get a little rest and a chance to clear his head before a likely home start against the Avalanche.

It will be his first start since giving up four goals and getting the hook from his last start. Jones should be busy, facing a Boston offense that ranks ninth in the league in shots per game (32.6). The Bruins have given Jones the most trouble in his career, as he's accumulated a .861 save percentage and 3.86 GAA in five starts.

Jones allowed four goals on 23 shots before being replaced by Aaron Dell midway through the third period during Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Blue Jackets.

While he didn't have much chance on the first three tallies, the goal that chased Jones from the game was a fairly soft one right through his five-hole. It's only his second regulation loss in February, and the 29-year-old still boasts a 6-2-1 record with a 2.69 GAA and .906 save percentage on the month.

Jones came up huge in his last start Thursday versus the Penguins, stonewalling the Penguins on all of their 26 shots. He's allowed two or fewer goals in each of his last four road starts, posting a 1.48 GAA and .949 save percentage, and will look to extend that stretch against a Blue Jackets squad reinforced up front by the addition of star pivot Matt Duchene.

We were gearing up for a high-scoring affair between these two elite offenses, but only one showed up. Owners who held Jones out given his 3.35 GAA and .889 save percentage on the road coming in are kicking themselves, as he reversed those struggles by posting his second shutout of the season. The other was also a 26-saver, coming Dec. 18 in Minnesota.
