Stuart agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Adler Mannheim of the DEL on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stuart was in training camp with the Blackhawks this offseason on a professional tryout agreement, but never landed a permanent contract. Instead, the blueliner will head overseas to extend his professional career and possibly earn a look from an NHL club heading into 2018-19.

Chicago released Stuart from his professional tryout agreement Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Fellow defenseman Cody Franson, who's also with the Blackhawks on a PTO, has been impressive during the first week of training camp, making Stuart completely expendable. The 2003 first-round pick may need to head overseas if he'd like to stave off retirement for another year.

Stuart inked a professional tryout agreement with Chicago on Monday, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stuart saw action in a mere 42 contests for the Jets last season in which he recorded two goals, a pair of helpers and 79 blocked shots. Considering Winnipeg was willing to buyout the blueliner for just $1.2 million in cap savings -- when it has $7.3 million in space -- says a lot. Best case scenario for Stuart is probably a two-way contract, with time in the AHL a near lock if the veteran wants to continue his professional career.

Stuart was placed on waivers by Winnipeg on Friday for purpose of buying out the final year of his contract, Jim Toth of TSN 1290 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shedding Stuart's contract will free up approximately $1.2 million in cap space for the Jets this season. The 33-year-old saw his role significantly reduced last year as he appeared in only 42 games and averaged a mere 12:27 of ice time when he was in the lineup. The emergence of youngsters Josh Morrissey and Julian Melchiori made the veteran blueliner expendable in Winnipeg. If he can secure a new role for the 2017-18 campaign, it will likely be as a third-pairing defenseman at best.

Stuart recorded a goal, an assist, and a plus-3 rating during Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Believe it or not, Stuart actually doubled his point total for the season during Tuesday night's contest. That alone should keep fantasy owners in most formats away, as the 32-year-old has always been known more for his defensive soundness rather than his offensive prowess.

Stuart has played in four straight games due to injuries on the Jets' blue line.
EDGE Analysis
Stuart has periodically been a healthy scratch this season, but with Toby Enstrom (lower body) and Tyler Myers (lower body) on injured reserve, the veteran has been pressed into action. The Minnesota native is averaging a mere 10:54 of ice time, but that number could increase if fellow defender Jacob Trouba is hit with a suspension for a hit in Sunday's matchup with Ottawa.

Stuart has managed just one point in his last eight outings since returning to the Jets' game-day lineup.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting out 19 straight contests as a healthy scratch, Stuart has been on the ice for the Jets' previous eight matchups, largely due to injuries to Tyler Myers (upper body) and Ben Chiarot (illness). Once these two guys are cleared for action, Stuart will likely find himself once again watching from the press box.

Stuart figures to be the odd man out on the blue line Thursday against the Oilers, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stuart played in the Jets' previous five outings while Toby Enstrom was dealing with a family matter back in Sweden. With Enstrom back in the fold, the 32-year-old Stuart will once again be relegated to the press box as he has been for much of the season. When in the lineup this year, the blueliner averaged a mere 12:04 of ice time per night and was unable to record any points, instead adding eight PIM, 10 hits, and 16 blocked shots.

Stuart (upper body) could suit up against the Blackhawks, but will instead be a healthy scratch, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stuart could find himself as the odd man out in Winnipeg following the end of Jacob Trouba's holdout. Additionally, a healthy Tyler Myers (lower body) will further add to the log jam once he is cleared to return. When in the lineup, Stuart has contributed zero points, three shots on goal and 11 blocked shots, so it should come as no surprise he will be watching from the press box.

Stuart (upper body) remains inactive for Tuesday's matchup with the Stars, TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stuart will miss a fifth consecutive game as he continues to recover from an ailment sustained earlier this month. The blueliner participated in Sunday's morning skate so it seems likely that his return is not too far out. The 32-year-old -- tallying zero points over five games prior to his injury -- should be ignored in almost all fantasy formats even when healthy.
