Hrivik signed a contract to play for HC Vityaz (KHL) on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After nine years trying to work his way up to a full-time role in the NHL, Hrivik has evidently determined that he's better off playing within Russia's top league. The undrafted winger ended up with only three assists over 24 games between the Rangers and Flames between 2015-18.

Hrivik (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Vickers of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a developing situation, but the Flames called up prospect Morgan Klimchuk to take Hrivik's place on the active roster.

Hrivik was promoted from AHL Stockton on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hrivik was ineffective in his three previous outings with the Flames, but has been dominating in the minors with 30 points in 32 games. The 26-year-old should get a look at a spot in the lineup -- probably a bottom-sxi role -- as the club sent down Andrew Mangiapane in a corresponding move.

Hrivik was reassigned to AHL Stockton on Friday, Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hrivik will spend the All-Star break in the minors, and he may stay down there if Michael Frolik (jaw) gets healthy in time for a Jan. 30 matchup against Vegas. The 26-year-old winger averaged 8:13 of ice time through two games in this stint and failed to record a point.

Hrivik was recalled from AHL Stockton on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Hrivik was down in the minors simply because the Flames had been on bye, and he's suddenly an option for Saturday afternoon's home contest against the Jets. Formerly with the Rangers, Hrivik has maintained a point-per-game average with the AHL's Heat this season. A little more experience should go a long way for the undrafted winger.

Hrivik was reassigned to AHL Stockton on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hrivik's demotion could be temporary, as the club heads into its bye week, although he has logged just one outing this season. The winger has performed well in the minors with 29 points in 28 games for the Heat. If he can translate his scoring touch to the NHL level -- and secure a regular role -- the Slovak could add decent mid-range value the rest of the year

Hrivik was recalled from AHL Stockton on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
After spending time in the Rangers' system, Hrivik signed a one-year, two-way pact with the Flames ahead of this season. The undrafted winger only made 21 career NHL appearances for the Blueshirts, with three assists representing his total over that span. However, he's managed greater than a point-per-game pace with Stockton -- comprised of 10 goals and 19 helpers -- to the benefit of the Flames' top development affiliate. He should compensate for the team losing Freddie Hamilton off waivers to Arizona.

Hrivik (undisclosed) was placed on waivers Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hrivik -- who was previously on injured reserve -- appears to be back to 100 percent. As such, the Flames didn't have a spot for the 26-year-old on the 23-man roster and placed him on waivers for the purpose of reassignment. If the winger clears, he figures to be reassigned to AHL Stockton.

Hrivik (undisclosed) shed his no-contact jersey for Thursday's practice, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
He's currently on injured reserve and ruled out for Opening Night at home against the Jets on Saturday, but his ditching the no-contact shirt is a major hurdle that Hrivik's cleared in his recovery. The winger, formerly with the Rangers, is still looking for his first NHL game after 21 games spaced out over the past two seasons.

Hrivik (undisclosed) will begin the 2017-18 campaign on injured reserve, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hrivik is still sporting a non-contact jersey during practice, so it's hardly surprising to see he won't be cleared for action ahead of Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Oilers. The 26-year-old winger, who notched two points in 16 games with the Rangers last season, will likely be sent to Calgary's AHL affiliate once he's fit to play.
