Marcus Kruger is looking to earn a roster spot with Chicago this season. He appeared in seven games with the Blackhawks during the regular season and suited up in another five contests during the playoffs. Kruger said he learned a great deal about how he needs to play from those experiences and he wants to impress the team's brass in his first NHL training camp. He has offensive upside but potentially playing as a bottom-six forward won't make him much of a fantasy asset in 2011-12 should he remain in the big league.
