Fleury stayed on the ice late after practice Friday, and he'll defer to Matt Murray as the evening's starter against the Senators for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The first goalie to leave the ice in the a.m. is almost always the one to start that night, and it's been explicitly stated that Murray will make his first start of the 2017 postseason. Evidently, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan doesn't want to take his chances with Fleury after he coughed up four goals on nine shots in Game 3. The decision to go with Murray, who was instrumental in helping the Penguins claim the Stanley Cup trophy last June, definitely wasn't made in haste; Sully took all of Thursday to mull it over despite what must've been intense pressure from the media to tip his hand. Pittsburgh finds itself in a 2-1 series deficit with another road game on tap.

Fleury was yanked in Wednesday's Game 3 loss to Ottawa after allowing four goals on nine shots, and head coach Mike Sullivan says he hasn't considered who will start Game 4, Johnathan Bombulie of TribLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fight was seemingly sucked out of the Pens by the time fellow netminder Matt Murray came in as relief; nevertheless, he deflected 19 of the 20 shots he faced. After this impressive outing, head coach Mike Sullivan has a tough decision to make, yet he claims to have not considered it. Pittsburgh is in a tough position right now down 2-1 in the series, making this decision even more important. There's no clear timeline for when Sullivan will delegate either goaltender, so continue to check back periodically before Game 4 on Friday.

Fleury saved just five of nine shots during Wednesday's Game 3 loss to Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing just two goals through his previous three starts, the pendulum swung in the opposite direction Wednesday for Fleury. There were some tough bounces, and he bounced back from consecutive poor outings in Round 2 to post a Game 7 shutout against Washington last week, so it's probably ill-advised to get too hung up about this start. However, with Matt Murray healthy, Fleury's leash will probably be short through the rest of the postseason.

Fleury will guard the cage in Wednesday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Senators, NHL.com's Tom Gulitti reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fleury was unbeatable in Game 2, turning aside all 23 shots he faced en route to a 1-0 shutout victory. The Flower has been highly impressive throughout this postseason, registering a .931 save percentage through 14 appearances. He'll look to stay dialed in and pick up his 10th victory of the playoffs Wednesday evening.

Fleury saved all 23 shots he faced during Monday's Game 2 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
It's been an impressive run for Fleury, as he entered Monday's game with a .928 save percentage and now sports a 9-5 record with two shutouts in the playoffs. While there have been some peaks and valleys, he's allowed two goals or fewer in nine of 14 starts heading into Wednesday's Game 3 matchup in Ottawa. The Senators are struggling to generate scoring chances, so Fleury should continue to be a reliable fantasy option throughout the Eastern Conference Finals.

Fleury will start Game 2 against Ottawa on Monday, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flower was solid in the series opener Saturday, turning aside 33 of 35 shots, but it wasn't enough as the Senators prevailed in overtime to take a 1-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Final. Fleury has been mostly solid while starting all 13 playoff games for the Pens, posting a .928 save percentage and 2.49 GAA, but now that Matt Murray is healthy and backing him up, he'll have little room for error as the series progresses.

Fleury turned away 33 of 35 shots in Saturday's Game 1 overtime loss to the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Fleury had a very strong game, but unfortunately a Bobby Ryan breakaway in the extra frame sealed the team's fate. Fleury was fantastic in a Game 7 win over the Penguins in the second round and brought that same play with him into the Eastern Conference finals. The Penguins certainly can be better than they were Saturday, so with Fleury playing the way he is, they're looking very good if they can kick the offense back into gear. Fleury's sporting a .928 save percentage thus far and continues to be one of the best stories of the postseason.

Fleury is bound to be the home starter versus the Senators for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday, as no lineup changes are expected after the Penguins eliminated the Capitals in seven games Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flower saved his best performance of these playoffs for that Game 7 against the Capitals, saving 29 shots en route to his ninth career postseason shutout. However, it's worth noting that Fleury's only regular-season start against the Senators didn't go over well. He was yanked halfway through the game after yielding four goals on 16 shots in a Dec. 5 contest. With the Senators ranking as low as 25th in Corsi For percentage -- a metric that reveals how well a team (or player) controls possession -- expect the Penguins to do all they can to hog the puck while preventing Fleury from seeing ... well, a flurry of shots.

Fleury was perfect in Game 7 on Wednesday, turning aside all 29 shots in a 2-0 victory over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
The man who allowed nine goals in Games 5 and 6 was an absolute brick wall in this one -- on enemy ice, no less. Matt Murray (lower body) actually suited up for backup duty and is said to be healthy, but after Game 7's performance, Fleury is all but guaranteed to get the nod in Game 1 against the Senators in the Eastern Conference Final.

Fleury will start in goal on the road Wednesday for Game 7 against the Capitals, CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
No surprise here, as Matt Murray is hampered by a lower-body injury and the Flower has tended twine in every game for the Pens during these playoffs. Pittsburgh's had to chronically rotate its defensemen due to a myriad of ailments this season -- Trevor Daley (lower body) has been the latest victim of the injury bug -- and Fleury can ill-afford to witness a leaky crop of blueliners in this deciding playoff contest. The veteran backstop surrendered nine goals on 58 shots between Games 5 and 6, and the Penguins have only scored more than three goals in a goal just once this entire series.
