He'll look to register another solid outing on Saturday, and will likely be the Penguins' go to goaltender throughout their playoff run.

It's questionable as to how much Vezina Trophy consideration the Pittsburgh netminder might receive, but there's little doubt he's the Penguins' MVP. Despite playing behind only five defensemen the final week of the season due to salary cap concerns, Fleury came up big when the team needed it most. The win was just his second in eight starts. Facing the Presidents' Trophy-winning Rangers in the postseason will be a tall task for the Flower. He was pulled after 25 minutes in his last start against New York, allowing four goals on 17 shots in 25 minutes. Last year, Pittsburgh won three of its first four games versus the Rangers in the playoffs, only to lose the final three games.

It's certainly not ideal to turn to Fleury on back-to-back nights, but after the Penguins couldn't close the deal Friday night against the Islanders, coach Mike Johnston will be forced to stick with his No. 1 netminder as the team looks to earn a playoff berth. A match against the league's worst team is normally a layup for most goalies, but Fleury hasn't made things easy on himself with a decline in his performance down the stretch. He's lost six of his last seven outings while conceding three of more goals in all but one of those games.
