Subban stopped 42 of 44 shots Thursday, but it wasn't enough in a 2-1 overtime loss to San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Subban played fantastically in his first start since Feb. 2, especially in a 17-save second period. It's unclear how long Marc-Andre Fleury (undisclosed) will be sidelined, so Subban could make for a sneaky add and/or spot-start option in the final eight games of the season if Fleury doesn't return soon.

Subban will start between the pipes Thursday against the Sharks in San Jose, Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Subban will receive the nod with Marc-Andre Fleury (undisclosed) remaining behind in Vegas following an injury that forced him to leave Tuesday's game. In his first start since Feb. 2, Subban will be tasked with keeping pucks out of the net from a San Jose club averaging 3.31 goals per game at home this season. The 24-year-old netminder may also be forced into the spotlight for the stretch playoff run should Fleury's injury keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Subban was pressed into relief duty Tuesday night against the Canucks, proceeding to stop 22 of 23 shots in a 4-1 win.
EDGE Analysis
Subban replaced Marc-Andre Fleury, who sustained an undisclosed injury, to start the second period. However, the 24-year-old backstop did not factor into the decision. It'll be worth monitoring Fleury's status ahead of Thursday's road game against the Sharks because Subban is the clear No. 2 for the expansion Golden Knights.

Subban (upper body) is no longer listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
Subban has missed the Golden Knights' last 19 games due to an upper-body injury, but he was a full participant in Thursday's practice, which was a clear indication that he was likely nearing a return to game action. Vegas has yet to name a starter for Friday's matchup with Minnesota, but if Subban doesn't face the Wild, he'll likely start between the pipes Sunday against the Flames.

Subban (upper body) is considered week-to-week, Sheng Peng of HockeyBuzz.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This won't be the first time Subban has missed a chunk of action this season. Though he started the year as Marc-Andre Fleury's backup, he's been limited to 16 games of action. Fortunately for the Golden Knights, Fleury is healthy at the moment and capable of shouldering the load. Until Subban can return, Max Lagace has been brought back up from AHL to be the new backup netminder in Vegas.

Subban (upper body) will be placed on injured reserve Saturday, Jesse Granger of the Las Vegas Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury was initially labeled as undisclosed after Saturday's morning skate, however it has now been diagnosed as an upper body injury. Subban (11-3-1) had hit a rough patch as of late, allowing four goals in each of his last three starts but has had an otherwise redeeming 2017-18. Vegas will recall Maxime Lagace to back up Marc-Andre Fleury. Lagace (6-6-1) had won four of his last six contests during his last stint at the big level earlier this season and is worth a speculative add for spot-start situations.

Subban (undisclosed) will be placed on injured reserve Saturday, according to Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to Schoen, Subban sustained the injury at morning skate Saturday, so Vegas will respond by calling up Maxime Legace from the AHL ahead of Sunday's home game against the Flyers. This is a tough break for fantasy owners that have taken advantage of the ex-Bruin's breakout campaign. Subban's skated away with wins in 11 of his 16 appearances for the nascent franchise, though he did hit a rough patch with four goals allowed in each of his last three starts prior to sustaining the ailment.

Subban surrendered four goals on 35 shots in Friday's 5-2 road loss to the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
The final goal of the game was an empty-netter from Eric Staal. With consideration to the sealant made possible by an unguarded cage in addition to the Wild picking up a pair of power-play goals, it's not like we can fairly say that Subban had an awful night. He did pick up a number of big saves and coach Gerard Gallant even let him go the distance. Vegas remains in first place within the Western Conference, so we wouldn't let this hiccup deter you from counting on Subban as a streaming candidate in DFS the next time he gets the nod.

Subban will guard the cage in Friday's road game against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Subban has struggled in his last three appearances dating back to Dec. 31 against the Maple Leafs, posting an ugly 3.66 GAA and .864 save percentage over that span. He did, however, manage to compile a 2-0-1 record during that stretch of poor play due to fantastic goal support from his teammates. The 24-year-old netminder will look to get back on track in a difficult road matchup with a Minnesota team that's 17-4-4 at home this season.

Subban saved just 22 of 26 shots during Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
This loss snapped a seven-game winning streak, and it was also the first time Subban wasn't victorious since Nov. 30. So, while this clearly wasn't his finest showing, it's pretty difficult to be too critical of the backup netminder. After all, he's 11-2-1 on the season with a serviceable .914 save percentage and 2.49 GAA. Subban offers standalone value in deeper seasonal leagues, but he should definitely be on every fantasy owner's radar as a streaming option and handcuff to Marc-Andre Fleury.
