Eriksson (hand) will be a game-time decision for Saturday's game against the Flyers. While Eriksson's status for Saturday's contest is cloudy, that he is viewed as a game-time decision does appear to confirm the notion that the winger's hand injury is relatively minor and won't involve an extended absence.

Coach Claude Julien indicated Friday that Eriksson (right hand) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Flyers, csnne.com's Joe Haggerty reports. The report relays via Julien that Eriksson is doing better than he was on Thursday, when he sat out the Bruins' win over New Jersey, but at this stage the winger should be considered day-to-day.

Eriksson (hand/wrist) was spotted on the ice Friday morning, but he appeared to be shooting "rather gingerly", Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports. A long-term absence isn't expected, but Eriksson is no sure thing to play in Saturday's game against the Flyers. He missed Thursday's contest against the Devils, after taking an uncalled slash Wednesday night.

Eriksson (hand/wrist) will not play in Thursday's game against the Devils, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports. Erikson was slashed during the second period of Wednesday's game against the Penguins, and he later left the contest in the third period. According to Benjamin, Bruins coach Claude Julien does not believe that the injury will result in a long-term absence. Boston's next game is scheduled for Saturday in Philadelphia.

Eriksson left Wednesday's game in the third period after being slashed in the hand/wrist area in the second period, CSN New England reports. Eriksson continued playing after suffering the injury but was eventually forced from the game after recording 11:56 TOI. The extent of his injury is uncertain, but it puts his availability for Boston's next game Thursday in question.

Eriksson picked up two assists Monday -- one on an empty-netter -- and went plus-3 in a 5-2 win over Detroit. All of a sudden, Eriksson's been piling up these multi-point outings of late, having put up four two-point games over his last six. It seems like for the first time in a couple years, you can roll him confidently.

Eriksson scored in the second period and buried the puck in an empty net with 38 seconds remaining Tuesday in a win over Nashville. With four goals and six points over his last four games, Eriksson's officially hot. He's been finding twine with great regularity of late, having tallied six times over the last eight games. This recent production has pushed his season numbers up to a pace nearly identical to last year's, but at least he's finding twine more often -- with nine goals now, he should easily surpass the totals of 10 and 12 that he posted over the last two seasons.

Eriksson added an assist and scored the game winning goal in overtime in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Sabres. Eriksson now has two multi-point efforts in his last three games, and six points in his last seven. The 29-year-old now has 19 points on seven goals in 34 games. While he won't come close to the 70-point seasons he has put up before, the winger could surpass last season's total of 37.
