Ullmark stopped 27 of 29 shots in Saturday's 9-2 rout of the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
By the time Ullmark faced only his fifth shot of the game late in the first period, he'd already been gifted a three-goal lead by the Sabres' red-hot offense. While Carter Hutton continues to handle the bulk of the action in net for Buffalo, his 25-year-old backup has now won three of his four starts with a .934 save percentage. If Hutton's fairly pedestrian performance (2.95 GAA, .910 save percentage) continues much longer, Ullmark could force his way into a timeshare, or even into the No. 1 job.

Ullmark will patrol the crease Saturday afternoon, fielding shots from the visiting Senators, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark has been fantastic, as he's crafted a 2-0-1 record, 2.00 GAA and .935 save percentage through three starts. Sure, the sample size is small, but the Swede already has a shutout on the season ledger, and the Sabres have posted a plus-6 goal differential with Ullmark between the pipes. Now, he'll square off against a Senators team that ranks 10th in the league in scoring at 3.33 goals per game.

Ullmark will field shots from the Blue Jackets in a road start Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark is being rolled out exactly once every seven days as Buffalo's No. 2 netminder behind Carter Hutton. The Swede is undefeated through two starts, halting 55 of 56 shots between a pair of road games against the Coyotes and Kings, respectively. Ullmark is expected to be countered by Joonas Korpisalo in this next contest, which would end up being a battle of the backups at Nationwide Arena.

Ullmark stopped 19 of 20 shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
His bid for a second shutout in two starts got snapped midway through the third period by a Drew Doughty power-play goal, but Ullmark was still sharp when called upon in an easy road win for the Sabres. Free-agent signing Carter Hutton remains the No. 1 netminder for Buffalo, but if Ullmark continues to shine when given the chance, the 25-year-old will be hard to keep out of the crease.

Ullmark will guard the cage in Saturday's road matchup with the Kings, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark was razor sharp in his season debut last Saturday against Arizona, turning aside 36 shots en route to an impressive 3-0 shutout victory. The 25-year-old netminder will look to stay dialed in and pick up his second victory of the campaign in a road matchup with a Kings club that's only averaging 2.00 goals per game this campaign, 28th in the NHL.

Ullmark turned aside all 36 shots Saturday, earning a 3-0 win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
That's a heck of a way for Ullmark to make his season debut. Granted, Arizona isn't a top offensive squad, but shutting out any team is an accomplishment, and the Swede faced a fair amount of shots in the process. He remains the backup, but performances like this might make Phil Housley trust him a little more.

Ullmark will be in the crease for Saturday's contest in Arizona, Mike Harrington of TBNSports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark will make his first appearance of the season after Carter Hutton posted a 2-2-0 record in the team's first four games. The 6-foot-4 Swede is viewed as Buffalo's goalie of the future, so Ullmark will have a lot to prove in his age-25 campaign. With that information in mind, coach Phil Housley will try to ease Ullmark in with a favorable matchup against a Coyotes team that's scored a total of two goals in its first three games of the season while losing twice via shutout.

Ullmark will patrol the blue paint against the Penguins on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark is entering a contract year, which will likely determine his future with teh Sabres. Carter Hutton was brought in to be the starter, but his cap hit ($2.75 million) isn't so high that the team would be unwilling to bench him in favor of Ullmark if the youngster steps up his game.

Ullmark set aside 27 of 31 shots in Friday's 5-3 preseason road loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres jumped out to an early lead thanks to a goal from Notre Dame product Andrew Oglevie, but the Buds would respond with three unanswered goals in the first period, including John Tavares' third goal of the preseason. Listed at 6-foot-4, 221 pounds, Ullmark naturally leaves little space for opponents to work, but the Swede will need to work on his rebound control in order to keep his ratios at a respectable level this season. Ullmark owns a career 2.52 GAA and .917 save percentage, which is about what you can expect from a backup tender.

Ullmark is listed atop the projected goalie order for Friday's preseason road clash with the Maple Leafs. As a result, he's expected to get the starting nod.
EDGE Analysis
Ullmark was deployed for two frames in Monday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets, saving 20 of 21 shots in the process. The Swords are confident in summer free-agent acquisition Carter Hutton -- he signed a three-year contract at $2.75 million AAV -- but the Swede has patiently bided his time in Buffalo's system and this could be the year that he consistently holds down the No. 2 spot at the top level.
