Hogberg inked a one-year, two-way contract in August of 2022, but apparently Hogberg wants to return to Europe as he has a goal and three assists in 19 games and has not seen any ice time since Jan. 14.

EDGE Analysis
Hogberg spent most of the 2021-22 season with AHL Lehigh Valley, picking up eight points through 58 games, but he also drew into five contests with the Flyers, notching two helpers over that span. He'll likely fill a similar role in 2022-23.

Hogberg was expected to be sidelined for 7-10 days after being diagnosed with an oblique strain Tuesday, but he was evidently able to make a swift recovery. The 23-year-old blueliner will almost certainly report to AHL Lehigh Valley before the Flyers' first regular-season contest.
