Brossoit was thrust into duty Sunday when starter Connor Hellebuyck was pulled at the end of the second period. He made four saves in relief.
EDGE Analysis

The Avalanche added an empty-netter with only 13 seconds left in the game. This was Brossoit's first appearance in the playoffs. Look for Winnipeg to return to Hellebuyck when they host Colorado on Tuesday.

Brossoit made 18 saves in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old netminder shut Vancouver down completely in the third period as Winnipeg broke open a 2-2 tie. Brossoit finishes the regular season with the best numbers of his career, going 15-5-2 with a 2.00 GAA and .927 save percentage over 23 outings to claim a share of the Jennings Trophy for the league's stingiest goaltending, but he'll head to the bench for the playoffs as Connor Hellebuyck gets ready to face the Avalanche in the first round beginning Sunday.

Brossoit is set to start at home against the Canucks on Thursday, per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.
EDGE Analysis
Brossoit earned a 24-save shutout victory over Dallas in his last start last Thursday. He's been a superb backup goaltender for the Jets, posting a 14-5-2 record, 2.00 GAA and .928 save percentage across 22 contests this season. The Canucks are typically a difficult adversary, ranking sixth offensively with 3.42 goals per game, but they might rest some of their top players Thursday with the playoffs around the corner.

Brossoit posted a 24-save shutout in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
This was Brossoit's third shutout of the campaign, matching his total from his first nine seasons combined. The 31-year-old has won seven of his last nine outings, giving up just 14 goals in that span. He's been one of the best true backup goalies in the league with a 14-5-2 record, a 2.00 GAA and a .928 save percentage over 22 appearances as Connor Hellebuyck's understudy. Brossoit likely won't play much in the playoffs, but he's likely to get at least one more regular-season game once the Jets lock in their playoff positioning.

Brossoit will protect the road goal versus the Stars on Thursday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brossoit wasn't great in his last start April 1 versus LA, surrendering three goals on only 28 shots, but he was still able to come away with a win thanks to strong goal support from his teammates. He'll try to secure his 14th victory of the season in a brutal road matchup with a scorching-hot Dallas team that's gone 9-1-0 through its last 10 games.

EDGE Analysis
Brossoit played for the first time in five games and held his own against a tough opponent. He shut the door in the third period, and a goal from Cole Perfetti with 6:55 left ended up deciding the game. Brossoit has won six of his last eight outings and is now at 13-5-2 with a 2.10 GAA and a .925 save percentage through 21 appearances this season. Connor Hellebuyck is likely to start Thursday versus the Flames, but Brossoit could see an uptick in playing time once the Jets clinch a playoff spot.

EDGE Analysis
Connor Hellebuyck has slumped lately, including in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Senators. Brossoit will return to the net after playing just once in the previous five games. Brossoit is 5-2-0 over eight appearances since the All-Star break while allowing just 15 goals in that span.

Brossoit turned aside 12 of 13 shots after replacing Connor Hellebuyck midway through the second period of Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
The switch in the crease had less to do with Hellebuyck's play and was more an effort by coach Rick Bowness to wake up his sleepwalking team, but Brossoit did his part in giving the Jets a chance to rally. The 31-year-old backup goalie has been impressive when called upon of late, and through five outings in March, Brossoit's gone 3-1-0 with a .945 save percentage.

Brossoit made 37 saves in a 4-1 loss to the Devils on Thursday. He allowed three goals.
EDGE Analysis
All three goals came on the power play. It was Brossoit's first loss in six starts. His shutout streak came to an end after 179 minutes and 40 seconds. Brossoit has been an excellent play in spot duty this season, and with the postseason approaching, the Jets may rest starter Connor Hellebuyck a bit. Brossoit will be a strong activation in spot duty for the Jets.

Brossoit is set to guard the crease against the Devils on the road Thursday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brossoit is riding a five-game winning streak during which he's posted a 1.40 GAA, .948 save percentage and two shutouts. With their No. 2 option rolling, it seems the Jets are willing to give the 30-year-old netminder some extra looks, as he figures to get one of the upcoming back-to-back games against the Islanders and Capitals on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Even then, Brossoit won't be taking the starting job away from Connor Hellebuyck any time soon.
