Turris registered an assist during Sunday's 2-0 victory against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Turris is off to a great start in 2016-17. The 27-year-old has four goals and two assists in eight games -- two multi-point outings -- and is a key reason why the Sens are 5-3-0. The 2007 No. 3 pick has picked up right where he left off after missing most of last season, and that's exactly what owners hoped for. Turris is well on his way to a second 60-point campaign, and with how active he's been on offense, the center could push for a new career high.

Turris scored his fourth goal of the season and registered four shots on net over 16:06 of ice time during Friday's game against Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
While Turris has posted a respectable four goals and one assist through seven outings to start the year, he's also missed the scoresheet entirely four times. His game-to-game inconsistency often makes him a frustrating player to own in seasonal leagues. Turris could still take a run at 60-point benchmark, though.

Turris scored his third goal and dished out an assist in Tuesday's 7-4 win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
After a two-goal opener, the 27-year-old pivot was held off the scoresheet for two games before posting another multi-point effort against the Coyotes, who drafted him with the No. 3 overall pick back in 2007. Turris had an ineffective 2015-16 campaign shortened by injury, but he's come back looking much more like the version of himself that we saw in the two prior seasons, suggesting that a return to his old 60-point level could be in the offing.

Turris scored twice -- including the game-winning tally -- on four shots during Wednesday's 5-4 overtime thriller against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Welcome back, Kyle Turris. The top-line center hasn't notched a goal since December 2014, as he missed most of last season due to a high-ankle sprain. The 27-year-old didn't miss a beat, and the clutch gene is welcomed by the Sens, as they missed out on quite a few wins late last year that cost them a shot at the playoffs. The 2007 No. 3 pick is going to be a consistent threat in his ninth season as he takes the ice next to offensive threats Mark Stone and Mike Hoffman.

Turris picked up an assist and a plus-2 rating during Thursday's 4-3 preseason overtime victory against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Most importantly, Turris was on ice for 18:26, showing no ill effects of the ankle injury that ended his season prematurely last year. Still the man at the helm, the 27-year-old is hungry for a bounce-back campaign now one year removed from a 64-point season.

Turris (ankle) is not listed as injured at the start of training camp, the Ottawa Citizen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turris was expected to make a full recovery, and now returns to a team that is eager for a bounce back year. The 27-year-old is entrenched on the top line after back-to-back productive campaigns (58 and 64 points) before last season's 13 goals and 17 assists in 57 contests. The center should have no issues returning to glory with Mike Hoffman and Mark Stone flanking the wings, allowing owners to feel safe when drafting the 2007 first-round pick.

Turris's 2015-16 season was cut short by a high-ankle sprain, but the center was able to notch 13 goals, 17 helpers and 32 PIM in 57 games.
EDGE Analysis
Turris may have been able to challenge his third straight 50-point campaign, but high-ankle sprains can linger for an extended period of time and that closed the book on his season. While the 26-year-old was unable to reach his full potential this year, a full offseason of rehab and practice should push the center back into his top-line role. However, with a new head coach rolling in for the Sens (still to be named), it'll be interesting to see how the lineups will be formulated next season.

Turris will not play for an indefinite period of time due to a high-ankle sprain.
EDGE Analysis
Turris appeared to exit the game after taking a puck to the face, but it seems his reason for leaving was much worse than that. High-ankle sprains can cost people extended periods of missed action, and his indefinite tag certainly suggests that's the case for the 26-year-old center. Expect the team to further update his status as Turris begins to close in on a return, but the team will certainly miss his presence on a nightly basis.

Turris did not return in the third period of Saturday's game after taking a puck to the face, Dean Brown of TSN 1200 reports.
EDGE Analysis
The team didn't offer an update on his status following the game, but expect them to do so at some point before the team's next game Tuesday against the Blues. While he hasn't posted his usual numbers this season, he's still tallied 30 points (13 goals) and would be a big loss if it causes him to miss extended time. Given the nature of the injury, however, it seems more likely than not that it won't hold him out long.

Turris (undisclosed) scored the shootout winner Saturday against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
The goal is small consolation for his owners. Turris hasn't picked up a point in 12 games and has now gone 23 games without a goal in regulation. In fact, he has just five points in those 23 outings. Turris has clearly been hit by the effects of climate change and the aftereffects of those leg and ankle injuries he first suffered in December. Bench him.
