Labanc was recalled from AHL San Jose on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Labanc returns to the big club after a very short stint in the minors. The Sharks are apparently more satisfied with the potential that the 21-year-old has shown as compared to that of Ryan Carpenter, who was demoted to the AHL in a corresponding move. Labanc will look to expand on the seven goals and seven assists that he's tallied in 40 game so far this season at the NHL level.

Labanc was reassigned to the AHL's San Jose Barracuda on Monday, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The young American suited up in each of the Sharks' last 34 games, tallying a respectable 13 points in that span. Labanc was a prolific scorer in major junior, averaging 1.76 points per game in his final two OHL seasons, and has already recorded 15 points in his brief, nine-game AHL career. Having gone scoreless and put a total of three shots on goal in his last six contests, Labanc's demotion comes at a time when he may be lacking offensive confidence and will be hoping to rediscover it in the minors.

LaBanc was recalled from AHL San Jose on Monday, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The burgeoning rookie was quite feisty in his minor-league appearance with the Barracuda this past Saturday, serving up a whopping 14 PIM after getting whistled for high-sticking and a pair of unsportsmanlike conduct no-nos. Nonetheless, his team prevailed over the Admirals 4-2 in that road contest. Labanc had been a fill-in option when Tomas Hertl was out long-term with a knee injury, but now he'll be centered by the Czech skater on the third line opposite Joel Ward. Labanc is averaging a point about once every three games and has been defensively responsible as evidenced by the plus-5 rating. He's an intriguing keeper option in most formats.

Labanc was reassigned to AHL San Jose on Friday, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The promising winger was not a part of Barracuda's 4-1 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday evening, but there's a good chance that Team Teal simply had him scheduled to rest after he worked his way into 31 consecutive NHL games. LaBanc has been quite the find, as the rookie has managed 14 points over 37 contests, including a pair of game-winners and a power-play assist. Before you shrug at that output, consider that he's done this despite averaging a mere 13:20 as a bottom-six skater. The 21-year-old from Brooklyn, New York is just getting started.

Labanc has recorded six points in his last 10 games and 12 in 30 this season.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a solid NHL debut for the 20-year-old winger, who has also thrown 43 shots on goal while receiving 13:27 of ice time -- 1:01 of which has come on the power play. Labanc is currently holding down a spot on the Sharks' second line next to Logan Couture and the recently rejuvenated Mikkel Boedker, so he should continue to get plenty of offensive looks as long as he's skating in a top-six role.

Labanc scored two goals -- including the overtime-winner -- against the Oilers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite leaving his mark on Friday's win, the rookie isn't providing consistent offensive production. With six goals, eight points and 30 shots through 21 games, Labanc's numbers don't tip the fantasy scales in any yearly setting. He remains a player to watch because of his offensive upside, but at this stage of the season, he's likely best utilized as a low-priced flier in daily contests when San Jose faces a favorable matchup.

Labanc scored the game-clinching goal in the shootout and finished Wednesday's game against the Senators with a plus-2 rating.
EDGE Analysis
The 20-year-old rookie is receiving offensive opportunities and has a respectable three goals, five points and 16 shots over his past 10 games. Labanc isn't on the fantasy radar in most leagues yet, but his long-term value is on the rise, and he's a player to watch. His low salary in daily contests is also intriguing as a source of cap relief.

Labanc potted the game-winning goal Saturday against the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Labanc has now scored in back-to-back games and has netted three goals in his last five outings. The 20-year-old is making an impact in limited minutes with the Sharks and has built off the whopping 127-point season he put up in his final year in the OHL. Labanc is a potential fantasy gem in the making, but his fourth line role really limits his fantasy value right now.

Labanc scored a second-period goal and registered two shots on net during Friday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
The 20-year-old rookie has been shuffling between the NHL and AHL this season, but he's quickly proving ready for the highest level. Lebanc has 13 points through eight games in the AHL this year after scoring 127 points with the Barrie Colts of the OHL in 2015-16. He also has a respectable five points -- three goals -- over 14 games with the Sharks. Daily players will want to keep an eye on Labanc, and if he carves out an offensive role with San Jose, seasonal owners could have a hidden gem on their hands, too.

Labanc was recalled from AHL San Jose on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Labanc joins the Sharks for his second stint of the season with the big club. The 20-year-old rookie posted a decent four points the first time around and is a very intriguing prospect, but he won't be fantasy relevant until he can start seeing more ice time than the 11:59 he's currently averaging.
