Fiala scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala got a piece of a Jon Merrill shot to open the scoring at 6:22 of the first period. In the second, Fiala set up Jordan Greenway for a power-play tally on the rush. The 25-year-old Fiala entered Thursday scoreless in his previous four games. The Swiss winger is up to four goals, 17 points, 89 shots on net, 14 PIM and a plus-3 rating in 26 outings. His recent cold stretch has left him stuck in a third-line role, though that's not so bad in an offense as balanced as the Wild's.

Fiala registered two assists in Friday's 7-1 drubbing of the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala continues to shine in the possession game, as evidenced by his sparkling Corsi percentage of 60.6. This metric tells us that the Wild dominant puck possession when the Swiss national is on the ice. A poor shooting percentage (4.8) is cutting into the winger's value a bit, but 11 of his 14 points have been assists and he's cemented on the No. 1 power-play unit for a Minnesota team that reigns supreme in the Central Division.

Fiala scored a goal and an assist in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
He was largely responsible for the game even getting to overtime, as both of Fiala's points came in the third period as the Wild rallied from a 4-2 deficit. The 25-year-old has a sluggish start to the season but has picked up the pace in November, producing two goals and nine points in 10 games on the month.

Fiala recorded an assist and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala set up Joel Eriksson Ek for the Wild's lone tally Tuesday. The 25-year-old Fiala has lacked consistency on offense -- he's racked up six points in the last seven games despite getting on the scoresheet only three times in that span. He's up to nine points, 48 shots on net, 12 hits and a minus-3 rating in 15 outings overall.

Fiala scored a goal on four shots and delivered two assists in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala hasn't found much consistency on offense this year, as this was just his second multi-point effort. The Swiss winger is up to two goals, six assists and 37 shots on net through 12 contests. He's picked up three points on the power play. Wednesday's effort was just his second game in the last nine that he's gotten on the scoresheet after opening the season with a three-game point streak.

Fiala notched an assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala set up Frederick Gaudreau for the Wild's first goal of the game. That duo, along with Victor Rask, has served as the Wild's third line for the first two games of the year. Fiala has a goal, an assist, five shots on net and a plus-1 rating so far. Fantasy managers need not worry about the third-line designation -- a top-unit power-play role and the general fluidity of head coach Dean Evason's forward group should give Fiala plenty of chances to produce offense.

Fiala scored a power-play goal on four shots in Friday's 2-1 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala tied the game at 1-1 with his marker at 17:35 of the second period. The Swiss winger is coming off of a 40-point effort from 50 games last year, including 14 power-play points. He signed a one-year, $5.1 million contract in August, and he's poised to cash in a little bigger if he can put up another strong season in 2021-22.

Fiala and the Wild agreed to terms on a one-year, $5.1 million deal Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The two sides were separated by nearly $2 million in their arbitration fillings and split the difference with his $5.1 million cap hit. Despite the last two seasons both being shortened due to COVID-19, Fiala was able to reach the 20-goal mark in both campaigns, so there is no reason to think he can't do it again.

Fiala and the Wild submitted their salary offers Sunday ahead of Tuesday's arbitration hearing, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet and Michael Russo of The Athletic report. Fiala is looking for $6.25 million on a one-year deal, while the team is offering $4 million.
EDGE Analysis
Last season, 25 of the 26 restricted free agents that filed for arbitration reached a deal before the hearing, so there's still a chance Fiala and the Wild will reach a deal in the next few days. The 25-year-old has been one of the league's quieter goal-scorers the last two campaigns, rattling off 43 goals in his last 114 regular-season contests. Fiala managed 32 power-play points during that span, as well, and the pace of his 20-goal effort in 2020-21 would have amounted to 33 over a full season. All told, it'll be interesting to see how the next few days play out relative to his salary and future in the State of Hockey.

Fiala scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Golden Knights in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala set up Ryan Hartman for the opening tally on an odd-man rush in the third period. The Golden Knights lost a challenge a few minutes later, and Fiala scored on the ensuing power play. The Swiss winger had been quiet in the postseason prior to Wednesday -- he now has two points in six contests. He's added a minus-4 rating, 20 shots on net and 15 hits in a middle-six role.
