I know how to play hockey," said Daugavins. "I just have to go out there, not think about it and just enjoy it. How many times do you get to be in the playoffs, and play? You have to take a little bit of that joy out there." Daugavins might end up playing in the Bruins' remaining 2013 playoff games.

He produced one goal and two assists in 19 games for the Senators, but made waves for his unique shootout attempt against the Bruins on March 11. Boston must've been impressed with the move because they picked him up off waivers. Daugavins' only goal this season also came versus the Bruins on March 21 and he picked up an assist against them as well. He was practicing with Ottawa Wednesday, so he won't join the team in time for Wednesday's match-up with Montreal.
