Kaspars Daugavins admitted that he's "a little nervous" going into Game 4 on Friday. Daugavins is getting ready to play in his third career NHL playoff game after Gregory Campbell suffered a broken fibula. "I haven't played in a while, but I try to think about it less and less. I know how to play hockey," said Daugavins. "I just have to go out there, not think about it and just enjoy it. How many times do you get to be in the playoffs, and play? You have to take a little bit of that joy out there." Daugavins might end up playing in the Bruins' remaining 2013 playoff games.

Kaspars Daugavins will play in Game 4 on Friday. Daugavins has been inserted into the lineup because Gregory Campbell will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a broken fibula. This will be Daugavins' first contest since Game 1 against Toronto in the first round.

Kaspars Daugavins, who play in Game 1 against Toronto in Round 1, could be an option for Boston with Gregory Campbell out for the remainder of the playoffs with a broken fibula. Coach Claude Julien said a decision on who plays and where they will play will be made Friday, but he added that the Bruins have "lots of options." Jay Pandolfo, Carl Soderberg or Jordan Caron could be in the mix as well.

Kaspars Daugavins will be in the Boston lineup for Game 1 while Rich Peverley is a healthy scratch. Daugavins was skating on the third line in practice this morning alongside Chris Kelly and Jaromir Jagr and Peverley was relegated to the fifth unit. It appears that coach Claude Julien kept the lines together so change your lineup tonight, if you can.

Kaspars Daugavins skated on Boston's third line at practice Tuesday. Coach Claude Julien was quick to say that the lines he used in the session are not necessarily ones he will use in Game 1 against Toronto Wednesday night. Still it was interesting that Daugavins was with Chris Kelly and Jaromir Jagr, while Rich Peverley joined Jay Pandolfo and Carl Soderberg on the Bruins' fifth line. Daugavins said he is ready to play if he gets the call.

Kaspars Daugavins may make his Boston debut Tuesday night. If he does play then it will be against his former team, as the Bruins are set to host the Ottawa Senators. Daugavins, who was claimed off waivers from the Senators last week, hasn't been eligible to play while finalizing his work visa.

The Boston Bruins have claimed Kaspars Daugavins off waivers from Ottawa. He produced one goal and two assists in 19 games for the Senators, but made waves for his unique shootout attempt against the Bruins on March 11. Boston must've been impressed with the move because they picked him up off waivers. Daugavins' only goal this season also came versus the Bruins on March 21 and he picked up an assist against them as well. He was practicing with Ottawa Wednesday, so he won't join the team in time for Wednesday's match-up with Montreal.

Ottawa Senators place Kaspars Daugavins on waivers. Daugavins has one goal and three points this season, but you may remember him for his creative shootout attempt on March 13 that was the talk of the league. A team looking for depth and shootout help could put in a claim on him. If Daugavins goes unclaimed, he'll like be assigned to AHL Binghamton.

Ottawa's Kaspars Daugavins scored his first goal of the season Thursday, but it wasn't enough as the Senators dropped a 2-1 decision to Boston. The goal was the lone marker for the Sens on the night and was assisted by Mika Zibanejad and Sergei Gonchar. The goal is the sixth for Daugavins in his short career.
