Falk (concussion) is cleared to play but has been placed on waivers for the purposes of sending him down to AHL Belleville, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old has played just 10 games this season, failing to record a single point along the way. Expected to clear waivers, Falk will report to AHL Belleville in the next day or so.

Falk (concussion) will not make the team's upcoming two-game road trip, Ken Warren of the Ottawa Citizen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk was reportedly close to returning to action, but his absence from the road trip suggests otherwise. The Senators have one game remaining before the All-Star break after the trip, so it's quite possible the team will give him the added rest to reach 100 percent for the second half. At the very least, Falk will miss the next pair of contests against the Hurricanes and Blues.

Falk (concussion) isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Falk is reportedly nearing a return to game action, but he'll need to wait for Friday's matchup with Carolina for his next opportunity to do so. Either way, the 30-year-old blueliner has gone scoreless in 10 appearances this season, so there's no need for fantasy owners to concern themselves with his availability.

Falk (concussion) might be available against the Avalanche on Wednesday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk has missed the last nine games due to his concussion, but appears to be nearing a return. Even if the blueliner is healthy, he could struggle to break into the lineup, especially if Thomas Chabot (upper body) and Ben Harpur (upper body) are also given the green light to play. Before he can return to action, Falk will need to be activated off injured reserve.

Falk (concussion) has been placed on injured reserve, per the NHL media site.
EDGE Analysis
Falk's placement on injured reserve is nothing more than a procedural move, as he was already ruled out for the weekend versus the Islanders and Capitals. He will be eligible to return from injured reserve whenever healthy, though no specified expected return date has surfaced yet.

Falk will miss a pair of games this weekend as the result of sustaining a concussion prior to the Christmas break.
EDGE Analysis
Falk presumably will be reevaluated ahead of the New Year's Eve matchup versus host Columbus. Still, as an eighth-year player who has never topped nine points in a single season, this news doesn't hold much weight in the fantasy realm.

Falk won't return to Saturday's game versus the Capitals due to an upper-body injury, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk was playing in his 10th NHL game of the season, and he's yet to score a point with the big club. The 30-year-old blueliner will have extended time to recover due to the holiday break, and his next chance to play will be Friday versus the Islanders.

Falk was a late addition to Saturday's lineup against the Sharks, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk, a journeyman, subbed in for the injured Max Lajoie (undisclosed) just one day after signing a one year, two-way deal with the Senators. Fantasy owners are advised to wait and see how Falk performs in his new digs before giving consideration to adding him in deep leagues. However, He only has 33 points in 269 career games, so he'll probably remain on the waiver wire in all settings.

Falk signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Senators on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Senators are dealing with multiple injuries at defense right now, so Falk may be tasked with joining the team and immediately drawing into the lineup if Max Lajoie (undisclosed) is unable to go Saturday against San Jose. The 30-year-old blueliner appeared in 46 games with the Sabres last season, notching just two points over that span.

Falk skated in just 46 games in 2017-18, scoring only one goal and one assist while logging 121 hits.
EDGE Analysis
During the year, Falk found himself largely bouncing between the ice and the press box, as he only had four stretches that he played in five or more games in a row. When on the ice though Falk averaged 18:14 of time per game, and his 121 hits are certainly impressive given his limited opportunities, and his 2.6 per game ranked second on the team. The 29-year-old has never found a double-digit point total throughout his nine year NHL career, but is solid in his own zone which should continue giving him ice time in 2018-19, although he is an unrestricted free agent and could very well find another home besides Buffalo.
