Folk ended a 100-game goal drought in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Falk tied the game at 2-2 late in the second period on a low shot that snuck through after goaltender Henrik Lundqvist was bumped out of position by his own man. The goal was Falk's first point in 22 games this season.

Falk served as a healthy scratch against the Hurricanes on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Falk had appeared in five straight games prior to being relegated to the role of observer. Considering the Manitoba native hasn't scored a goal since the 2014-15 season when he was with the Blue Jackets, fantasy owners probably shouldn't be banking on him for offensive production. In fact, the 28-year-old is still searching for his first point of the 2017-18 campaign.

Falk (undisclosed) will be in the lineup for Friday's game against the Red Wings, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk will skate with Marco Scandella on the Sabres top pairing against Detroit. The 29-year-old blueliner has developed into a solid stay-at-home defender for the Sabres this campaign, but his lack of offensive upside keeps him off the fantasy radar in most formats.

Falk will be a game-time decision against the Red Wings on Friday due to an undisclosed injury, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk just recently returned from a 12-game absence, which no doubt makes his latest ailment all the more frustrating. In his six games back, the blueliner has been held scoreless while contributing some decent ancillary stats with five shots on goal, 25 hits and 18 blocks. If the Snowflake, Manitoba native is unable to give it a go, recently recalled Casey Nelson figures to slot into the lineup.

Falk (lower body) is now removed from injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
To make room for the Manitoba native, the Sabres placed another one of its defenseman in Nathan Beaulieu (upper body) on IR. Falk has yet to play this season, but that could change as soon as Thursday night versus the Coyotes. Expect the low-end skater to pad the hit- and blocked-shot columns after recording 101 and 40 of those, respectively, last season.

Coach Phil Housley confirmed Tuesday that Falk (lower body) is good to go and will be an option for Buffalo's upcoming two-game road trip, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Falk has still not officially been added back to the active roster, but this report would seem to confirm that we will see him return to the Buffalo blue line within the next two games. It's not a moment too soon either -- the Sabres are currently allowing 3.58 goals per game, currently the fifth-worst mark in the league.

Falk (lower body) skated on the third pairing with Victor Antipin on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Falk has yet to play this season but looks like he's ready to hit the ice -- if not on Thursday against Arizona then certainly very soon. He's yet to be activated from IR, but the Sabres still have some time to decide and may want to keep Taylor Fedun around with Nathan Beaulieu (upper body) hurting as well.

Falk (lower body) is making progress in his injury rehab, but won't play in Saturday's 1:00 p.m. ET game against the Sharks, the Olean Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
The low-end defender has returned to the ice for morning skates, though he remains day-to-day. After Saturday's contest, the Sabres won't play again until they travel to Arizona for Thursday's bout with the Coyotes, providing Falk with what should be ample time to recover.

Falk (undisclosed) stayed on the ice for extra work after Tuesday's morning skate and is likely to remain out for the evening's contest against the Red Wings, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it's encouraging that he's back to skating, Falk still has yet to suit up for game action in the 2017-18 season and has no timetable for return set out for him. Expect an update when the Manitoba native returns to practice fully or is removed from the injured reserve list.

Falk (undisclosed) is still considered week-to-week and has no return date set.
EDGE Analysis
Falk began the season on injured reserve and it's believed that he's suffering from a lower-body injury, although that has yet to be confirmed. Buffalo's blue line has been hit with injuries early this season, and Falk is one of the victims. He's been effectively ruled out for Friday's game against Vancouver and Saturday's game against Boston.
