The 29-year-old had gone 12 games without finding the back of the net before scoring twice in 83 seconds in the third period to put Saturday's game away. Bailey now has 16 goals on the campaign, leaving him two shy of last season's career high with seven games left on the schedule for the Islanders, and a Metropolitan Division title potentially within their grasp.

Bailey notched an assist for the second straight game, helping his team earn a 5-4 win over Ottawa on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Bailey won't do you any favors in plus/minus, where he's minus-3 over his past nine games, but he's doing something right on the stat sheet, scoring eight points in that stretch of games. He's now reached 50 points on the season and has another nice matchup coming up with the Senators' forgiving defense.

Bailey has 47 points in 62 games this season, taking a step back from the near point-per-game pace he had last year. Bailey remains a good depth option in many fantasy formats, especially with nine points in his last nine games.

Bailey dished out his 33rd helper of the year in a 4-0 win over the Canucks on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

He also went plus-2 in the contest. Bailey has eight points over his last eight games, bringing him to 46 points in 61 outings. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Bailey only gets second-unit time on the power play and doesn't play much of a physical game with 14 hits and 21 blocked shots for the season.

Bailey had a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over Columbus on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Bailey is off his dream season pace from last year, but is still on target for 60 points. That would be the second-best output of his caree, so we can all stop thinking that John Tavares created his production. Bailey has four points (two goals, two assists) in his last four games, and should be a mid-grade fantasy option, especially for helpers.

On Sunday, Bailey drew an assist on Devon Toews' power-play goal as part of a 2-1 win over Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

After logging 44 seconds on the power-play in Saturday's game, it was encouraging to see Bailey play over four minutes (4:32) with the man advantage in Sunday's win. The assist gives him 40 points in 55 games this season, though Bailey's production is not what it was a year ago, averaging 0.72 points to this point in 2018-19, down from his 2017-18 mark of 0.93.

Bailey registered an assist, two shots and won five of 10 faceoffs taken during Friday's 2-0 win over the Capitals.

EDGE Analysis

Bailey is meshing well with Matthew Barzal on the second line having posted two goals and three assists over his last six games. The playmaking winger has regressed slightly after a 71-point campaign in 2017-18, but he's on pace for another 60-plus point season so keep playing him as you normally would.

Bailey set up Anthony Beauvillier's goal in the second period of Tuesday's 3-1 win over Arizona.

EDGE Analysis

20 assists is a nice accomplishment for a player in any season, and Bailey is well set up for a year like he had two years ago, when he recored 43 assists and 56 points. He likely won't reach last year's totals, but he's emerged as a dependable point man for the Isles.

Bailey will play on the third-line Thursday versus the Penguins, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

EDGE Analysis

Bailey had been playing with Matthew Barzal and Anthony Beauvillier for most of the season, but will instead lineup with Valtteri Filppula and Leo Komarov for the immediate future. According to head coach Barry Trotz the move was made to balance out the scoring across all three lines, but fantasy owners will have a hard time seeing this move as anything but a demotion for Bailey.
