Anderson scored twice, adding six shots on net, three hits and a plus-3 rating, in Saturday's 7-0 rout of the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
He was all over the ice Saturday, and his second goal was an absolute beauty, as he buried the puck over a helpless Jean-Francois Berube's shoulder from the top of the faceoff circle on a partial breakaway. Anderson now has 13 goals and 23 points in 58 games in his first full season in the NHL, and has cemented himself on a checking line for the Blue Jackets with his physical play and ability to contribute in the offensive end.

Anderson (concussion) will return to the Blue Jackets' lineup for Thursday's game against the Canucks, Tom Reed of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson sustained a concussion in Tuesday's game against the Red Wings, so it's a bit surprising to see that he's already ready to return to action just two days later. The 22-year-old winger has been somewhat productive in a bottom-six role with the Blue Jackets this season, notching 19 points (10 goals, nine assists), 56 PIM and 79 shots on goal in 51 games, making him a decent bench option in deeper fantasy leagues.

Anderson, who left Tuesday's matchup with Detroit, did not return after he failed to pass the concussion protocol, Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given the nature of concussions, it would seem unlikely that Anderson would be ready to go in time for Thursday's visit from the Canucks, yet he has not ruled out at this time. If the winger is unable to suit up, the Blue Jackets will need to call-up a player from AHL Cleveland, with frequent flyer Markus Hannikainen the most likely candidate.

Anderson was forced out of Tuesday's game against the Red Wings after a hard hit, Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was crushed by a hit, which the Jackets felt was a bit questionable, from Brendan Smith. It's uncertain what the source and severity of Anderson's injury is, but speculation is that he suffered an upper-body injury or perhaps concussion. He was unable to return after going to the room midway through the game.

Anderson (illness) will return to the lineup for Tuesday night's game in Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Looks like Anderson was dealing with just a minor bug and he is apparently healthy enough to suit up Tuesday after missing just one contest. He is projected to skate with Matt Calvert and William Karlsson on the Blue Jackets' third line, and he's unlikely to put up excellent numbers while averaging 12:08 of ice time.

Anderson will miss Saturday's game against the Devils with the flu.
EDGE Analysis
With Anderson out, Markus Hannikainen will take his place in the lineup. Anderson has only averaged 12:08 per game, so he hasn't been a huge part of Columbus' offense, but he does have 10 goals and nine assists so his absence is not necessarily an afterthought. Columbus doesn't play again until Tuesday, so he should be fine by then.

Anderson scored his 10th goal of the season, adding seven PIM and four shots on goal, in Friday's 3-1 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
With the Blue Jackets getting badly outplayed and down 1-0 late in the first period, the 22-year-old took matters into his own hands, rag-dolling Alex Killorn in a fight that seemed to wake up his teammates. Anderson then buried the rebound on a David Savard shot in the second period to cue the comeback. His spot on the third line limits Anderson's ice time and fantasy ceiling, but he's now scored in consecutive games, and in formats which count more than just points, his 50 PIM and plus-10 rating through 41 games are welcome production.

Anderson recorded a fighting major and two hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
His scrap with Chris Stewart early in the second period lit a fire under the Blue Jackets' bench, and they scored two goals in the next 76 seconds to take control of the game. Anderson hasn't been supplying much offense lately from Columbus' third line, scoring just one goal and four points in the last 10 games, but he's been making his mark with 18 PIM and 21 hits over that stretch.

Anderson filled the box score Tuesday, notching a goal on seven shots, two helpers, a plus-2 rating and three hits during a 5-1 win against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has flashed his potential twice in November, dropping two multi-point outings to the tune of three goals and three assists. In total, the 22-year-old has five markers this month to put his season tally count at seven. Unfortunately for owners, the scoring has come few and far between, as a painful eight-game pointless streak eliminated the chance at a monster November. Anderson's consistency issues makes him hard to trust, but the chance for an outburst is there.

Anderson scored his sixth goal of the season in Friday's 5-3 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
He also chipped in four shots and two PIM. Anderson hadn't notched a point in his previous eight games, but in his first full NHL season he's proving to be a useful grinder, recording six goals and seven points, 19 PIM, a plus-8 rating, 28 shots on goal and 28 hits in 19 games.
