Quick was able to bounce back from a rough outing against the Ducks to make pretty easy work of the Habs on Thursday. While he only faced 15 shots, he was able to make the saves needed to give his team the win. The 30-year-old is now 4-1-0 in his last five starts, and is starting to heat up at the right time. He will continue to start most games for the Kings, and you can feel confident starting him, as well.

Quick gave up four goals on 29 shots in Sunday's loss to the Ducks.

Quick couldn't stop Corey Perry and a surging Ducks team that has now won eight straight games. It was just Quick's first loss in four outings, dropping his record to 31-16-3 on the season. The 30-year-old is sporting a solid .920 save percentage and has been excellent of late, so we wouldn't worry too much about Sunday's loss to the red-hot Ducks. Quick has played 50 games this season and will continue to be relied on heavily by the Kings, so use him well.

Quick will slide between the pipes Sunday against the Ducks.

Quick has gone the month of February having allowed more than two goals just once on the month, so it's not surprising that the Kings continually ride their workhorse. However, he did get a night off in favor of Jhonas Enroth on Saturday, giving him a night to sit on the bench and watch the action. He may face his toughest task this month Sunday, preparing for another game in the Freeway Face-Off series against a Ducks club that's won seven straight games. Quick has had mixed results against the cross-town rivals this season, both winning and losing a game. The contest could go either way, but a hot goaltender can trump good offense. Quick may be expensive in daily formats, but that could make him a good GPP play with upside and low ownership potential. He's also nearly a must-play in season-long leagues.

Quick has now won three straight, and has an outstanding 0.99 GAA and .964 save percentage in that span. After having a bit of a down year last season, Quick has already amassed 31 wins in 49 games this season, which is just five shy of his total from a year ago. With 22 game left, he's actually got a pretty good shot at tying, if not topping, his career high of 39 wins set in the 2009-10 season. Certainly start Quick whenever he's in net while he's got the hot hand.

Quick will defend the blue paint Thursday as the Kings prepare to face the Oilers, Lisa Dillmann of the Los Angeles Times reports.

EDGE Analysis

Dominant in net of late, Quick continues his stretch of starts Thursday as he prepares for a bit of a cake walk in the Oilers (2.64 goals per game in February) compared to the recent teams they've faced. Edmonton will sit one of their better forwards (Teddy Purcell) as well, making the Kings netminder one of the safer options to pick up a victory Thursday.

Quick turned away 22 of 23 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Flames.

Quick was able to allow just one goal in his second straight game -- two wins -- saving 55 shots in the process. Although a .905 save percentage in February isn't ideal, the netminder is still sitting at 30 wins on the year with a 2.17 GAA. At this point, you know what you're getting out of the 30-year-old.

Quick was first off the ice and thus can be expected to start Tuesday against the Flames.

Quick played quite well in his last outing, saving 33 of 34 shots in an overtime win against the Predators. It was the fourth straight game that the 30-year-old veteran netminder has surrendered two goals or fewer to opponents. Quick will face a struggling Calgary team Tuesday that currently sits in sixth place in the Pacific Division and has dropped four of the past five contests.
