Quick will get the home start Sunday against the Predators, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
It'll be Quick's first start since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, though he did appear in relief against Buffalo last week, allowing three goals on 17 shots. Quick will face a Nashville team that's averaging 2.58 goals per game, the fourth-lowest mark in the league. The veteran netminder is 8-5-2 on the season with an .897 save percentage and 3.09 GAA.

Quick stopped 14 of 17 shots after replacing Igor Shesterkin late in the first period of Saturday's 8-2 loss to the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers sleepwalked through the first frame, forcing coach Peter Laviolette to make a change between the pipes -- Shesterkin faced almost any many shots (16) in his 18-plus minutes of ice time as Quick did in 41:39. The veteran backup was expected to get the start Sunday in Pittsburgh, but given his workload in the first game after the 4 Nations Face-Off, New York might turn back to Shesterkin again and give him a chance to quickly shake off the terrible outing. If Quick is in the crease, his recent play hasn't been encouraging, and he has a 3.70 GAA and an .883 save percentage in seven appearances since the calendar flipped to 2025.

Quick made 22 saves in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder had no chance on any of the pucks that got past him, but after the Rangers found themselves in a 3-2 hole heading into the second intermission, Quick shut the door in the third period as his team rallied. He heads into the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off with an 8-5-2 record over 18 outings with a 3.03 GAA and .900 save percentage, and if Igor Shesterkin hasn't fully recovered from his upper-body injury by the time the Rangers' schedule resumes, it could be Quick between the pipes in Buffalo on Feb. 22.

Quick will defend the visiting crease in Columbus on Saturday, Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick became the first American-born goaltender to win 400 career games Sunday, stopping 34 shots in a 4-2 victory over Vegas. Quick is 7-5-2 with a 3.04 GAA and a .901 save percentage over 17 games this season. The Blue Jackets are averaging 3.22 goals per game, tied for eighth in NHL scoring.

Quick stopped 34 of 36 shots in Sunday's 4-2 home win over the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Despite allowing two of the first three goals of the contest, the NHL veteran tended a clean final period while New York's offense came alive. Sunday's win was Quick's 400th career victory, making him the first U.S.-born goalie to reach that milestone. He is up to a 7-5-2 record with a 3.04 GAA and a .901 save percentage across 17 appearances. Quick's current role with the Rangers is to give Igor Shesterkin a breather. If the latter continues to struggle, however, the 39-year-old netminder could be called upon more often to make a start. When he guards the crease, Quick is a solid option worth streaming in deeper leagues.

Quick will protect the home net versus Vegas on Sunday, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Quick will get the second half of the Rangers' back-to-back after Igor Shesterkin played in Saturday's 6-3 loss to Boston. The 39-year-old Quick has allowed 16 goals on 103 shots during his three-game (0-1-2) losing skid. He has a 6-5-2 record with two shutouts, a 3.11 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 16 appearances this season. Vegas ranks fourth in the league with 3.35 goals per game in 2024-25.

Quick allowed five goals on 38 shots in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Quick let four different one-goal leads slip away, only for the Canadiens to take the win on a Patrik Laine tally at 3:20 of the extra session. Over his last six outings, Quick is 1-2-2 while allowing at least five goals in four of those games. The 38-year-old netminder is 6-5-2 on the year with a 3.11 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 16 appearances. With no back-to-backs over the next week, it wouldn't be surprising for the Rangers to let Igor Shesterkin handle a heavy workload in the near future.

Quick will guard the road goal against Montreal on Sunday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
EDGE Analysis
Quick will get the second half of the Rangers' back-to-back after Igor Shesterkin played in Saturday's 1-0 shootout win over Columbus. The 38-year-old Quick has a 6-5-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.98 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 15 appearances this season. Montreal ranks 15th in the league with 3.00 goals per game in 2024-25 and lost 7-3 to Toronto on Saturday.

Quick made 34 saves in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Stars,
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers seemed like they might win a laugher when they jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the 12-minute mark of the first period, but Quick couldn't stop the visitors from getting back into the game, and there was little he could do on Jamie Benn's power-play winner in overtime. The veteran netminder has gone 1-2-1 over his last five appearances with a shaky 3.98 GAA and .872 save percentage, but Igor Shesterkin (upper body) appears close to coming off injured reserve, which would bump Quick back to the No. 2 role.

Quick will be between the home pipes against the Stars on Tuesday, per Colin Stephenson of Newsday.
EDGE Analysis
Quick opened January with a 32-save win over Boston, but he allowed six goals in a defeat to the Capitals on Saturday. This will be Quick's 15th appearance of the season Tuesday -- he has a 6-5-0 record, .903 save percentage and 2.83 GAA in 2024-25. Dallas sits 10th in the NHL with 3.21 goals per game.
