Quick allowed four goals on 41 Columbus shots during Sunday's 4-2 loss.
EDGE Analysis
Quick has been huge for the Rangers in his 21 games. However, the starts are coming inconsistently, especially now that Igor Shesterkin is getting back toward his Vezina-like form. Still, he's posted a .916 save percentage and a 2.45 goals-against average on the season.

Quick stopped 31 of 35 shots in Thursday's 7-4 victory over Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't Quick's sharpest outing -- he allowed four goals, including a pair in the third period. However, he was buoyed by the Rangers' offensive outburst as the 38-year-old netminder earned a fourth consecutive win -- he has a .932 save percentage in that span. Quick improved to 13-4-2 with a .917 save percentage and 2.36 GAA this season while playing his way into a timeshare with Igor Shesterkin.

EDGE Analysis
Quick was sharp in his last start Feb. 7 against the Lightning, stopping 17 of 18 shots en route to a 3-1 victory. He'll try to extend his personal winning streak to four games in a somewhat favorable home matchup with a Montreal team that's scoring 2.88 goals per contest on the road this year, 23rd in the NHL.

Quick made 18 saves in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder took a shutout into the third period before getting beaten by Brandon Hagel, but Quick still came away with his third straight win. The Rangers elected to give Igor Shesterkin a bit of a sabbatical around the All-Star break and have the 2022 Vezina Trophy winner study video in an effort to figure out why he's been struggling this season, so Quick has started both games since the schedule resumed in February and allowed just two goals on 52 shots. The team insists there's no goalie controversy and Shesterkin is still No. 1, however. As yet, coach Peter Laviolette hasn't given an indication who will be in the crease Friday against Chicago.

EDGE Analysis
Quick has an 11-4-2 record, 2.35 GAA and .918 save percentage in 18 contests this season. He's won his last two starts while saving 61 of 64 shots (.953 save percentage). As effective as Quick's been, Tampa Bay, which is tied for fourth offensively with 3.48 goals per game, might prove to be a difficult opponent.

Quick stopped 32 of 33 shots in Monday's 2-1 overtime victory over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Quick was excellent Monday, allowing just a Nathan MacKinnon goal late in the first period before the Rangers' won on Alexis Lafreniere's overtime tally, with the 38-year-old netminder earning an assist. Quick's started the Rangers' last two games bookending the All-Star break, earning wins in both to improve to 11-4-2 with a .918 save percentage and 2.35 GAA on the season. The veteran goaltender may be working his way into a timeshare with Igor Shesterkin in New York. The Rangers are back in action at home Wednesday versus Tampa Bay.

Quick made 29 saves Saturday in a 7-2 win over the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
It was his first win since Dec. 15 (1-4-1; six starts). Even with that queasy run, Quick is 10-4-2 with a 2.43 GAA and .915 save percentage, and he has given his career some late life at age 37. He's 15 wins from the 400 mark, but it remains to be seen if he will get another contract for next season to allow him to pursue that plateau.

Quick is expected to start on the road against the Senators on Saturday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Quick has posted a record of 0-4-1 over his last five appearances, allowing 16 goals on 138 shots in that span (.884 save percentage). That's somewhat diminished his strong start to the season, but he still has a 9-4-2 record, 2.46 GAA and .913 save percentage across 16 outings. Ottawa is just 18-24-2 in 2023-24, and even though the Senators are a more impressive 12-11-2 at home, this match is still an opportunity for Quick to get back into the win column.
