Quick stopped 21 of 22 shots in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
This was Quick's first action since March 9, though the Rangers had just one set of back-to-backs over eight games between March 11 and 25. The 39-year-old netminder was able to help the Rangers shake off Friday's heartbreaking overtime loss, providing steady goaltending while the Rangers' offense broke out in a big win. Quick is 10-6-2 with a 3.03 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 22 appearances this season. Igor Shesterkin is likely to be back between the pipes for Wednesday's home game against the Wild.

EDGE Analysis
Quick is making his first start since March 9, when he stopped 21 of 28 shots en route to a 7-3 loss to Columbus. He's 9-6-2 with a 3.14 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 21 outings with New York in 2024-25. The Sharks rank 30th in goals per game with 2.62.

Quick agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.55 million contract extension with the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Quick will become the active leader in shutouts (63) and games played when the 2025-26 season kicks off, assuming Marc-Andre Fleury retires after this season as expected. After 16 years as the starter in Los Angeles, the 39-year-old Quick has settled into his role as the No. 2 option in the Big Apple behind Igor Shesterkin and should continue to serve in that capacity next year.

Quick stopped 21 of 28 shots in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Quick had a woeful showing Sunday, and perhaps the lone reason why he wasn't lifted earlier was because Igor Shesterkin needed a break from the heavy workload he's endured of late. Quick has gone 3-1-0 with a 3.23 GAA and an .893 save percentage over his last five outings. The Rangers have a back-to-back next weekend, so that may be the next time we'll see Quick out there again.

Quick will protect the home net against Columbus on Sunday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick will get the second half of the Rangers' back-to-back after Igor Shesterkin played in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Ottawa. The 39-year-old Quick has a 9-5-2 record with three shutouts, a 2.92 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 20 appearances this season. Columbus is tied for seventh in the league with 3.27 goals per game in 2024-25.

Quick recorded a 34-save shutout in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Quick made some remarkable saves for a goalie of any age, and especially for a 39-year-old, as he celebrated his 800th career game. It was the 63rd shutout of his career, which is 18th most in NHL history and one behind tying Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist's total. Quick has won his last three decisions while allowing just eight goals over his last four appearances. He's now at a 9-5-2 record with three shutouts, a 2.92 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 20 appearances this season. Igor Shesterkin will likely get the nod Monday versus the Islanders, but the Rangers play another back-to-back next weekend with games in Ottawa on Saturday and at home versus the Blue Jackets on Sunday, so Quick won't have to wait long for appearance No. 801.

Quick will get the home start Sunday against the Predators, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
It'll be Quick's first start since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, though he did appear in relief against Buffalo last week, allowing three goals on 17 shots. Quick will face a Nashville team that's averaging 2.58 goals per game, the fourth-lowest mark in the league. The veteran netminder is 8-5-2 on the season with an .897 save percentage and 3.09 GAA.

Quick stopped 14 of 17 shots after replacing Igor Shesterkin late in the first period of Saturday's 8-2 loss to the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers sleepwalked through the first frame, forcing coach Peter Laviolette to make a change between the pipes -- Shesterkin faced almost any many shots (16) in his 18-plus minutes of ice time as Quick did in 41:39. The veteran backup was expected to get the start Sunday in Pittsburgh, but given his workload in the first game after the 4 Nations Face-Off, New York might turn back to Shesterkin again and give him a chance to quickly shake off the terrible outing. If Quick is in the crease, his recent play hasn't been encouraging, and he has a 3.70 GAA and an .883 save percentage in seven appearances since the calendar flipped to 2025.

Quick made 22 saves in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder had no chance on any of the pucks that got past him, but after the Rangers found themselves in a 3-2 hole heading into the second intermission, Quick shut the door in the third period as his team rallied. He heads into the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off with an 8-5-2 record over 18 outings with a 3.03 GAA and .900 save percentage, and if Igor Shesterkin hasn't fully recovered from his upper-body injury by the time the Rangers' schedule resumes, it could be Quick between the pipes in Buffalo on Feb. 22.
