Gibson and the Ducks have had their last two games prior to the holiday break postponed.
EDGE Analysis
The postponements affect Monday's game versus the Oilers and Thursday's game versus the Canucks. Gibson will look to grab hold of his No. 1 role in goal after the holiday break when the Ducks' schedule resumes Dec. 27 versus the Sharks.

Gibson (lower body) surrendered six goals on 27 shots in Friday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson missed the last two games with the lower-body injury, and he wasn't all that effective in his return. He twice let leads slip away and then gave up the decisive goal to Clayton Keller in overtime. Gibson slipped to 11-7-5 with a 2.71 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 23 contests. Considering how well Anthony Stolarz has played recently, it wouldn't be surprising to see Gibson cede some starts to his understudy in the near future.

Gibson (lower body) will tend the twine for Friday's home game against Arizona, Elliott Teaford of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson will be back in the crease following a two-game stint on the shelf due to his lower-body issue. In his previous two outings, the 28-year-old netminder conceded just two combined goals on 50 shots (.960 save percentage). While backup Anthony Stolarz should see a handful of opportunities, the bulk of the starts should head Gibson's way throughout the rest of the season.

Gibson (lower body) won't dress for Wednesday's game versus Seattle, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Gibson dealing with a lower-body injury, Anthony Stolarz will get the start against the Kraken with Lukas Dostal serving as his backup. At this point it isn't clear how long Gibson will be sidelined with his lower-body issue.

Gibson (lower body) will not dress for Sunday's tilt with the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was injured Saturday against the Penguins and he likely wouldn't have started Sunday's contest even if he was 100 percent. With Gibson out, Anthony Stolarz will get the start while Lukas Dostal works in a backup role. Gibson will be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against Seattle until another update is available.

Gibson (lower body) left Saturday's game after the second period, Elliott Teaford of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was solid, allowing one goal on 16 shots before he was forced out of the contest. Anthony Stolarz took his place in goal. More information on Gibson's status should be available before Sunday's game versus the Blues, but it's unlikely he'll start that contest regardless.

Gibson will start Saturday's road game in Pittsburgh, Josh Getzoff of PensTV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was excellent in last start, stopping 33 of 34 shots in a win over the Blue Jackets. He'll look to build on that against a Penguins team that has scored 14 times during a three-game winning streak.

Gibson made 33 saves Thursday in a 2-1 shootout win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
With his mates scuffling a bit Thursday, Gibson put up a world-class performance to deny the puck-pounding Blue Jackets. His opponents came in waves and he frustrated them all, with the exception of Alexandre Texier -- Gibson just couldn't get across fast enough to stop a one-timer off a cross-ice pass. He's one of the big reasons behind the Ducks' great 15-8-5 start to the season.

Gibson will tend the twine for Thursday's road clash with Columbus, Elliott Teaford of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has just one victory in his last seven appearances, as he is sporting a 1-4-2 record and 3.34 GAA. In eight career matches versus the Blue Jackets, the veteran netminder is 4-3-1 with a solid .910 save percentage and will look to continue that trend in Thursday's tilt.

Gibson stopped 26 of 29 shots in regulation and overtime and two of five shootout attempts in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
He came oh-so-close to getting the Ducks the victory, as they held a 1-0 lead through the first two rounds of the shootout, but Gibson then got beaten by Daniel Sprong, Alex Ovechkin and John Carlson on three straight shots. The veteran netminder has just one win in his last seven starts, going 1-4-2 with a 3.34 GAA and .896 save percentage over that stretch.
