With his mates scuffling a bit Thursday, Gibson put up a world-class performance to deny the puck-pounding Blue Jackets. His opponents came in waves and he frustrated them all, with the exception of Alexandre Texier -- Gibson just couldn't get across fast enough to stop a one-timer off a cross-ice pass. He's one of the big reasons behind the Ducks' great 15-8-5 start to the season.
