Farinacci agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Tuesday, according to Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal.
EDGE Analysis
Farinacci will come with a $775,000 annual cap hit whenever he's on the NHL roster during the upcoming campaign. He provided 10 goals, 38 points and a plus-9 rating over 58 regular-season outings with AHL Providence in 2024-25. The 24-year-old also made his NHL debut in April, scoring his first career goal on just one shot in his lone appearance with Boston. The Bruins are relatively thin up the middle, so Farinacci will look to earn a roster spot out of training camp.

EDGE Analysis
Farinacci had five goals and 20 points in 19 NCAA games with Harvard University last season. The 22-year-old was selected by Arizona with the No. 76 overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, but he never signed with the Coyotes, which led to him becoming an unrestricted free agent this summer. He'll likely start his pro career in the AHL.

EDGE Analysis
Farinacci had 20 points in 19 games with Harvard this season, and he posted 61 points over 79 contests during his collegiate career. The center was a third-round pick in 2019. His offense didn't exactly stand out, so he may begin his professional career in the AHL.
