Morrow agreed to terms on a contract with Dinamo Minsk (KHL) on Monday, Seth Rorabaugh of TribLive.com reports.

This very well could mark the end of the blueliner's NHL career, which would see him retire having played in 162 games for Montreal, Winnipeg and Boston. Drafted by the Penguins with the 23rd overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, the blueliner never appeared in a game for the club after he was traded to Dallas in exchange for Brenden Morrow and a 2013 third-round pick that would eventually become Jake Guentzel.

Once the Winnipeg defensive corps gets fully healthy, the veteran Morrow will see his opportunities diminish.

The move clears the way for Morrow to suit up versus Anaheim on Wednesday. The 25-year-old Morrow has only cracked the 10-point mark once in his career, so fantasy owners shouldn't be banking on him for offensive output.

The fact that Morrow hasn't been cleared for contact rules him out for Tuesday's clash with San Jose. The defenseman has missed the previous 10 games due to his lower-body issue. On the upside, the Edmonton native is at least skating, but will need to start taking contact before he returns to the lineup, in addition to being activated off injured reserve.
