Blacker wasn't tendered a qualifying offer by the Panthers on Monday and will become an unrestricted free agent, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Acquired from the Ducks in December, Blacker spent all of his time in the Panthers organization with AHL San Antonio, where he recorded 18 points across 40 games. The 24-year-old possesses some pedigree as a former second-round selection in 2009, so he'll still likely draw interest in free agency from a number of clubs.

Blacker was was traded to the Panthers on Thursday, along with a conditional draft pick, in exchange for Cody Robak.
Blacker has five points over 15 games with AHL Norforlk this season, and has only been with the Ducks for one contest in 2014-15. He'll provide organizational depth for the Panthers, but will likely need an injury to occur on one of the top three defensive pairings in order to see NHL time again this season.

Blacker was reassigned to AHL Norfolk on Tuesday.
After going minus-2 over 6:03 of ice time in his NHL debut Friday against the Blackhawks, Blacker had served as a healthy scratch for the team the last two games. With Clayton Stoner nearing a return from the mumps perhaps as soon as Wednesday, Blacker will head back to the minors to see more meaningful development time.

Blacker was recalled from AHL Norfolk on Friday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Clayton Stoner was officially diagnosed with the mumps virus and ruled out of Friday's game against the Blackhawks, forcing the Ducks to bring up Blacker for his NHL debut. The 23-year-old, who is considered one of the organization's better blue line prospects, has four points in 14 games with Norfolk.

Blacker was assigned to AHL Norfolk as the Ducks continue to trim their roster.
Blacker spent last season in Norfolk as well after being acquired in a deal from Toronto. With the Ducks depth on the blue line, he will likely spend this season in the AHL also, that is unless injuries cripple the D corps.

The Anaheim Ducks received a conditional third round pick and a seventh pick with Jesse Blacker on Saturday.
The package was sent to Anaheim from Toronto with Peter Holland and Brad Staubitz moving the other way. The third round pick becomes a second rounder if Holland plays 25 games for Toronto this season while the seventh rounder was originally Anaheim's own pick, a choice they dealt to the Maple Leafs last season in exchanges for Dave Steckel. The Maple Leafs gave up on Blacker because they felt he was not progressing while the Ducks picked up another right handed shot from the point.

The Ducks have acquired Jesse Blacker in a trade with the Maple Leafs Saturday.
Blacker, the 58th pick overall in the 2009 draft, has one point in five games with the Marlies of the AHL this season. The Leafs are deep on defense and could afford to make this trade to acquire Peter Holland to shore up their depleted center position. Blacker will likely have little fantasy value in the Ducks' organization.

Toronto has recalled defenseman Jesse Blacker.
He will probably serve as an extra blueliner with Mark Fraser sidelined after he took a puck to his forehead in Game 4 Wednesday night. John-Michael Liles is projected to play in Fraser's place.
