Zatkoff (lower body) won't play on Sunday against the Jets, Bo Hamby of KCRW reports.
EDGE Analysis
The goaltender's injury didn't seem too severe a few days ago, but it's evidently bad enough to cause him to miss at least one game. The Kings play again on Tuesday, so Zatkoff's status for that game will likely give more information about his injury.

Zatkoff (lower body) is considered day-to-day by coach Darryl Sutter, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
The general feeling surrounding Zatkoff's injury is that it's not particularly serious, but it remains to be seen if he'll be ready to go for Sunday's game in Winnipeg. The Kings have recalled Jack Campbell from AHL Ontario just in case Zatkoff's ailment causes him to miss time.

Zatkoff left Friday's game against the Senators with a lower-body injury and is questionable to return.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff is in his first game back from a groin injury that forced him to miss 11 games so this could be an aggravation of the same issue. While it's never good news to see a player leave for the locker room early, it is a positive sign that he was reported as questionable to return as it indicates the condition is on the less serious side. The Michigan-native was 18 of 18 on save chances before being replaced by Peter Budaj in the third period.

Zatkoff will start between the posts Friday against the Senators, NHL.com's Chris Stevenson reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff missed the team's last 11 games dealing with a groin ailment but will make his return to action for the Kings' 15th contest of the season. The 29-year-old will look to right the track on the current campaign as prior to his injury, the netminder went 0-3-0 with a 4.37 GAA and .839 save percentage.

Zatkoff (groin) is considered fully healthy and was one of the Kings' two goalies on the ice for practice Monday, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff's return to health allowed the Kings to send Jeff Campbell back to AHL Ontario. Given Peter Budaj's play in net, it's possible he's secured the starting gig and the veteran netminder will return to a backup role for the Kings. However, Zatkoff should see more time than Campbell (almost nonexistent) between the pipes as an established goaltender.

Zatkoff (groin) was not needed Saturday night, as interim starter Peter Budaj worked a shutout at home against the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Previous reports have suggested that Zatkoff is inching closer to a return, and he's sure to benefit from his team not playing again until Tuesday's road game against the Buds.

Zatkoff (groin) is out for Saturday's matchup with the Flames, OwnersBox NHL reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff was upgraded to day-to-day Friday leading to speculation that'd he'd be available Saturday but it appears the netminder will need a little extra time to recuperate from the injury that's kept him sidelined for the past eight games. It remains to be seen how the Kings will divvy up playing time with Peter Budaj once Zatkoff becomes available regularly.

Zatkoff (groin) has been upgraded to day-to-day with Kings coach Darryl Sutter not ruling out the possibility of the goalie being available as a backup to Peter Budaj against the Flames on Saturday, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff has been in recovery mode since sustaining the groin injury in an Oct. 22 morning skate, but the man himself sounds pleased with his progress. "I've been able to do more each and every day, just kind of building," Zatkoff said Friday. "Today, felt really good as another good step for me, just seeing normal shots, just reading the play and kind of trusting my body." Budaj has picked up five wins in eight games since Zatkoff went down with the injury, and it's not clear at this point who would be the interim No. 1 goalie with starter Jonathan Quick considered month-to-month with a groin ailment of his own.

Zatkoff (groin) is expected back on the ice Tuesday, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff has been sidelined since October 22 and has since seen Peter Budaj (4-2-0, 1.99 GAA) take over as the Kings' netminder in his absence. Zatkoff struggled at times following the injury to Jonathan Quick and figures to take a back seat to Budaj initially once he's able to get himself into game shape.

Zatkoff (groin) isn't expected to miss much (if any) beyond the minimum stay on injured reserve, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zatkoff suffered the groin injury in practice Saturday, leaving the already hurting Kings down another netminder. Peter Budaj will take on the workhorse role in his absence, with Jack Campbell serving as the team's backup. Even when Zatkoff returns, Budaj's play in net could result in split playing time between the two.
