Chimera recorded 20 goals and 40 points in 82 games in the 2015-16 regular season.
EDGE Analysis
The elder statesman of the Capitals, Chimera bounced back from a disappointing 2014-15 campaign to record the second-best season of his career. The speedy winger continues to defy expectations for a 36-year-old, third-line winger as his enters the twilight years of his career. It's unclear how much longer he can continue to produce at this level, but those in deeper leagues may want to keep him on their radar in the late-rounds of next season's draft.

Chimera posted an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
After breaking out of a nine-game point drought, the elder statesman of the Capitals has a goal and three points in his last four games and is playing well alongside Marcus Johansson and Jay Beagle on the third line. Garnering some power-play time on the second unit, Chimera has bounced back nicely from a disappointing 2014-15 campaign and provides plenty of value in deeper leagues.

Chimera ended a nine-game pointless streak when he assisted on a Justin Williams goal during Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win against Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a rough couple of games for the veteran winger, but he put together a good game Tuesday. Aside from dishing out the helper, he took two shots and finished plus-1. Despite the recent slump, it's been a solid season for Chimera, who has a secure role on Washington's third line. The 36-year-old has 34 points on the season -- his highest total since the 2013-14 season.

Chimera finished his ninth straight game without a point and was a minus-3 in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
The elder statesman of the Capitals has had an underwhelming couple of weeks as has registered six shots and a minus-5 rating over his last nine games. It would not be surprising to see him move around in the lineup in the next few games, and so he is a risky play in the short term.

Chimera scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-3 win in Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Chimera continues to have a solid campaign and could get a boost Marcus Johansson returning to the lineup. With 14 goals and 29 points in 53 games, the elder statesman of the Capitals continues to have some value in deeper leagues despite averaging only 13:42 of ice time per game.

Chimera was held without a point but finished with a plus-1 rating in Sunday's win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Chimera got off to a fast start on the year, but he's slowed down lately and has just one point in his last five contests. The 36-year-old has also seen his role decreased, skating under his season average total in three straight, though he remains on pace to top the 40-point plateau for just the second time in his career.

Chimera assisted on three goals -- including one on the power play -- in Sunday's win over the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
It was a big outing from Chimera, as he registered his third three-point performance of the season. The 36-year-old has been enjoying a bounce-back campaign, as he's already topped his point output from last season, but he's still more valuable in deeper leagues.

Chimera recorded a power-play goal Saturday night in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Chimera stood directly in front of the net and redirected an Evgeny Kuznetsov shot past Blue Jackets goalie Curtis McElhinney. With 11 goals and 10 assists, Chimera has already eclipsed his points output from last season, when he appeared in 77 games. Plus, Chimera already has four goals on the man advantage and that's two more than he's ever had in a season since he entered the league fifteen years ago.

Chimera delivered a goal and an assist Saturday in a win over Montreal. It was the Capitals' seventh straight victory and the points extended Chimera's point streak to four games.
EDGE Analysis
He has five points in that span and that includes a three-game goal streak. Chimera's pace is solid, but it tends to come in bunches. And that doesn't help in daily formats -- he's a better option in a plug and leave alone format. Only you know if that type of production works in your league.

Chimera potted the game-winning goal and fired three shots on goal Monday against the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
That's a three-game point streak for Chimera, who has scored in back-to-back games and is up to nine goals and 18 points in 33 games on the season. While he skates in the bottom-six and sees limited minutes, Chimera has a spot on the second power-play unit and has been a viable source offense on a red-hot Capitals team that has won six straight games.
