He's doubled his point total from 2023-24, but he's still yet to replicate the success of his 32-point 2021-22 season with the Ducks.

Drysdale hasn't been able to replicate the 32-point he had in his second year in the league in 2021-22, and given his inconsistencies as a scoring option, it would be a stretch to see him reach the 25-point plateau.

The right-shot defenseman got the Flyers on the board late in the game to cut the score to 2-1, but Dawson Mercer's empty-net goal with the man advantage spoiled Philadelphia's comeback attempt. Drysdale is up to four goals and 11 helpers across 53 appearances this season. The 22-year-old is a talented defenseman, but until Philadelphia is able to field a more competitive team, Drysdale's production will likely remain sporadic.

He was limited to a total of 10 points over 42 contests over the last two years combined, so this is a little progress. Drysdale is not at risk of losing his place in the lineup currently, but he doesn't need to be rostered in most fantasy formats.

Drysdale logged an assist and went minus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.

Drysdale had been held off the scoresheet over his last 10 outings, going minus-5 in that span. It's not all his fault -- during his slump, the Flyers were shut out three times and scored just a total of 18 goals. Drysdale is up to 12 points, 40 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating over 44 appearances. He hasn't taken a step forward as much as expected, but he has managed to stay in the lineup regularly when healthy despite his shaky defensive play.

He has a bit of scoring upside, but avoiding injuries will be critical for his success -- he's missed significant time in three straight years.
