Benn attempted just one shot on goal and finished with a minus-1 rating as his Stars were eliminated in humiliating fashion Wednesday with a 6-1 Game 7 loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Great things were expected of Benn in this game after he totaled 15 points through 12 appearances this postseason, but he came up empty along with the rest of the Stars. While this one will surely sting, the 26-year-old can still hang his hat on a fantastic playoff showing overall following an 89-point regular season.

EDGE Analysis
The Stars captain continues to deliver as they tie up the series at 2-2 before heading back to Dallas. Benn took a few big hits in the game but didn't seem to suffer any major ailments. He continues to be the focal point of the Stars offense and a must-start for DFS players.

EDGE Analysis
Benn's goal evened things up with just 2:36 remaining in regulation, but neither he nor his mates could find twine again as the Blues took Game 2 in overtime. Dallas' captain has continued having a tremendous postseason run with five goals and seven assists to go along with a plus-7 rating in just eight games.

Benn scored his sixth goal of the playoffs and added two assists in Sunday's series-clinching win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Another monstrous outing from the captain, who lit the lamp in Game 5. Benn has 10 points in six playoff outings this year and has appeared on the scoresheet in every single one of those games. The fantasy force will need to keep up his superb play if the Stars hope to get past the winner of the Blackhawks/Blues series in Round 2.

Benn took the day off from practice in what coach Lindy Ruff called a "maintenance day," reports Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News.
EDGE Analysis
"The fans don't need to worry," Ruff said at Tuesday's presser. It sounds like Benn is good to go for Game 4 on Wednesday, but just needed a little rest. He's been very good so far in the postseason, putting up two goals, three assists, a plus-5 rating and eight shots through three games. Play him as usual.

Benn scored a goal and led the Stars in shots with five in Saturday's Game 2 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Nothing seems to be slowing down Benn as he was easily able to slip behind the defense to go in on a breakaway and undress Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk for his sixth career postseason goal. Benn has owned the Wild this year. Dating back to the regular season he has scored 13 points in seven games and currently has a 10-game point streak against them dating back to the 2014-2015 season (17 points). The red hot Benn now has 20 goals in his last 26 games, dating back to regular season play and he doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.

Benn scored an empty-net goal, adding two helpers -- one on the power play -- a plus-3 rating, two PIM and five hits.
EDGE Analysis
After registering a career-high 89 points in the regular season, it should come as no surprise that Benn kicked off the playoffs in exceptional fashion. The star winger filled up the scoresheet, and with only one other postseason appearance (five total points), it's safe to say the 26-year-old is in for a monster run to add to his milestone campaign.

Benn picked up a power-play assist and two hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Benn wasn't catching Patrick Kane, especially after his monster finish with Chicago, but the winger has had an excellent campaign. Already at a career high, the 26-year-old added to that Saturday and now sits at 89 for the season. Next on the list would be to lead Dallas into the playoffs in their quest for a Stanley Cup.

It was his fifth goal in four games and set a new career mark in points with 88. Benn is now just eight points behind league leader, Patrick Kane, in the hunt for the Art Ross. And he's just four goals back of Alexander Ovechkin for the Rocket Richard.

Benn lit the lamp for goal No. 40 on the year, adding an assist, two PIM and three hits in a 4-1 win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Benn joined Mike Modano as the only other player in Dallas history to notch 40 goals in a single season. The 26-year-old has truly been spectacular around the crease, but yet still sits one point shy of last year's 87 points (we expect him to surpass that). The winger has found twine in three straight -- four total markers -- and shows no signs of slowing down with four games remaining.
