Voracek (lower body) remains out of the lineup Wednesday against the Blackhawks, Brian Hedger of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Voracek was considered doubtful coming into the day, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that he will end up missing the contest. As a result, the Flyers will again be without one of their top point-scorers (48 in 60 games) and will likely continue to roll with Sam Gagner in the top six until he returns. The veteran winger's next chance comes Saturday, and the fact that he skated Wednesday morning provides hope that will be the case.

Voracek (lower body) will remain out of the lineup Tuesday against the Red Wings, and appears doubtful for Wednesday versus the Blackhawks as well, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Voracek skated with his teammates during Sunday's session, but it appears he may still require some extra practice time. He'll certainly provide an offensive boost (48 points over 60 games) to the club upon his return, but Philadelphia actually owns a 5-1 record in his absence. Still in the hunt for a playoff spot, the Flyers could certainly use his services, but there's still no clear target date. Expect the team to officially rule on his Wednesday status over the next couple days, but it appears the winger will most likely sit out again.

Voracek (lower body) was given clearance to begin skating after meeting with doctors on Saturday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Voracek has missed the team's last seven games, but will skate during Sunday's practice. While that certainly gives him a chance to play Tuesday, the more likely outcome is that he returns Wednesday against Chicago. The Czech playmaker has 48 points in 60 games this year, and should resume a top-six role upon his return to the lineup.

Voracek (lower body) could be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday against Detroit, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Voracek's owners will be happy to see that the former first-round pick appears to be nearing a return to game action, as he's been a consistent source of offensive production this season, notching 48 points (10 goals, 38 assists) in 60 games. Sam Gagner, who has slotted into a top-six role during Voracek's absence, will likely be relegated to a bottom-six role upon Voracek's return to the lineup.

General manager Ron Hextall indicated Monday that Voracek (lower body) will sit for about two weeks.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers will certainly have some clipped wings with Voracek (team leader in assists, second in points) sidelined for an extended period of time. Sam Gagner filled the role for Saturday's game against the Coyotes, and could be in line to continue doing so moving forward. Expect the Flyers to further update Voracek's status as he continues to progress, but the two-week timetable leaves his return date around mid-March.

Voracek will skip Saturday's game against the Coyotes due to a lower-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear exactly when the injury surfaced, but the Flyers will be without their top assist man for at least Saturday's game. Who will step into the role also remains a bit of a mystery as well, but the potential return of captain Claude Giroux would at least provide a little more stability in the top-six, and may limit the changes needed. Voracek will be re-evaluated Monday, so expect another update on his status when that occurs.

Voracek was dropped to the second line in Tuesday's win over the Devils, according to Sam Carchidi of the Inquirer.
EDGE Analysis
Paired with R.J. Umberger and Nick Cousins, Voracek managed a late goal in his new assignment. The entire line accounted for two goals and two assists despite seeing limited ice time. Taking his place on the first line was Brayden Schenn, who unleashed three points on the Devils. For a team that's often struggling to find offense, coach Dave Hakstol is likely trying to provide his players a spark. We'll monitor Voracek's status for Friday's contest in Montreal.

Voracek scored a late goal in Tuesday's 6-3 taming of the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
The star winger recorded two shots in just over 12 minutes of ice time, the second time in five games he's failed to see more than 13 minutes of playing time. He's normally seeing at least 20 minutes each game. While it's unlikely he's lost the favor of coach Dave Hakstol, it's possible he's playing with an undisclosed injury. Monitor his status for Friday's contest in Montreal.

Voracek collected an assist and two PIM in Thursday's 5-1 dulling of the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Curiously, he only saw about 13 minutes of ice time, much below his average. Assuming he's back on the ice for Saturday's midday matchup with the Devils, he's a go in your lineup. In the meantime, monitor his status to make sure this drop in ice time isn't anything more than an aberration.

Voracek dished out two more assists Thursday in a 6-3 win over Nashville, adding a plus-3 rating.
EDGE Analysis
That's five assists in two games coming out of the All-Star break and a whopping 10 points over a five-game span for Voracek, who's been aggressively making up for lost time over the last couple months after he struggled to start the year. With his game looking about as strong as ever, look for Voracek to correct his shortfall of goals down the stretch -- he still has just eight to go with 33 assists, which is far more of an unbalanced line than his career norm.
