Allen will work between the home pipes Thursday against the Capitals, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been stout in the crease for the most part recently, letting in two or fewer goals in four of his last six starts. As a result, the Blues will turn his way again Thursday, though he face a tough task against the defending champs, who have taken home victories in four of their last five games while averaging three goals per game.

Allen permitted two goals in Monday's 2-1 home loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The overall game stats look rather strange, as Allen's allied skaters managed a plus-17 shot differential but were otherwise schooled in every major category aside from drawing one less penalty. Allen ended up winning half of his games in December with no more than four goals allowed in 12 appearances in the final month. St. Louis is going nowhere fast as the cellar dwellers of the Central Division, but there's value in knowing that he's one of the most frequently used goalies in the NHL.

Allen is tending the twine for Monday's home clash with the Rangers, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen will be making his 12th consecutive appearance in goal, despite having given up four goals on 17 shots before getting the hook versus the Penguins on Saturday. The 28-year-old is 6-4-1 during this stretch with a 2.84 GAA and one shutout. It could be a light workload for the netminder, as New York is putting just 28.4 shots on goal per game (third fewest in the league).

Allen will tend the home twine in Saturday's game versus Pittsburgh, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has overcome another rough start and won three of the last four games, marking a .937 save percentage and 1.75 GAA in that span. This contest may be Allen's toughest test of late, however, as the Pens have won six of the last seven while averaging 3.29 goals per game in that span. Allen's game may be kicking into gear, but he's historically proven his high-caliber play can have a short lifespan.

Allen will tend the twine from Thursday's homestand against Buffalo, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen's numbers have been extremely inconsistent of late, as he has posted two one-goal performances and allowed four goals to find the back of the net on two occasions in his previous six contests. The netminder will be going up against former teammate Carter Hutton and will no doubt be eager to put together a strong outing.

Allen made 28 saves in a 3-1 win over the Flames on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He was the best Blue on the ice and that was a relief for both the Blues and his owners. Allen's pendulum swings wide -- he's either a hero or the goat in games these days. In his last 10, he has won six, including one by shutout. But he has also been yanked in the first period of two games after allowing seven goals on a combined 22 shots. Allen is tough to trust because of the swings in his game. Roll him if he manages to go on a run. Otherwise, he's an activate-at-your-own-risk guy.

Allen will start in goal Saturday afternoon against host Calgary, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Calgary owns a terrific home record of 11-3-3, so Allen can ill-afford to turn in a performance reminiscent of Thursday's dud when he permitted four goals on 28 shots to the Canucks in Vancouver. Moreover, the Flames rank fifth in the league by means of averaging 3.5 goals per game, so fantasy owners should explore alternatives before locking him into lineups. Allen owns an 11-10-4 record, 3.17 GAA and .898 save percentage through 27 games, and you just never know what you're going to get from him.

Allen is slated to take on the Canucks on the road Thursday, Chris Pinkert of the Blues' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has posted a 4-2-1 record, 2.82 GAA and .908 save percentage over seven December contests. The ratios aren't very appealing in either DFS or season-long settings, but at least St. Louis' top netminder is trending in the right direction after turning in a save mark south of the .900 benchmark through the first two months -- specifically, he turned in an .896 value, and will now clash with a Canucks team that has experienced a freefall in the Pacific Division standings with a 16-17-4 record.

Allen will post up behind the pipes for Tuesday's road game against the Oilers, Derek Van Diest of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen's been in goal for 11 of 12 games over the last two months, as he continues to be heavily deployed despite inconsistent results. Specifically, St. Louis' No. 1 goalie has a 2.89 GAA and .906 save percentage over the aforementioned span, which only looks slightly better when you consider that the league-wide GAA has risen from 2.78 to 2.90 since last year. At any rate, Allen will now take aim at an Oilers club that ranks 20th in home scoring at 3.13 goals per contest.

Allen stopped only 12 of 16 shots before getting replaced by Jordan Binnington at the end of the first period during Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
It's the second time in his last four starts that Allen hasn't made it to the second period. The 28-year-old has seen his save percentage sink to .897 as a result, but with Chad Johnson now in Anaheim and only an unproven rookie behind him on the depth chart, the Blues will likely give Allen every chance to work through his troubles.
