Allen will defend the road cage in Saturday's game versus the Avalanche, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is the clear backup to rookie Jordan Binnington now, but he'll get the start on the first half of back-to-back games. He held his own in his last outing versus the Predators, hanging on for a 5-4 overtime win. The pressure is clearly on Allen now to perform and keep pace with Binnington. He'll look to earn the Blues their ninth straight win against an Avalanche team which has a pitiful 10-11-5 record at home.

Allen turned aside 40 of 44 shots in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Getting his first start since Jan. 17, Allen made 40 or more saves in a game for just the third time this season. The 28-year-old has slipped behind Jordan Binnington on the Blues depth chart, and Allen will need to show significant improvement in his 3.07 GAA and .898 save percentage if he's going to get back into the mix for the No. 1 job.

Allen will start in the road goal in Sunday's game versus the Predators, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen last started Jan. 17 in a loss to Boston, and he's watched rookie Jordan Binnington dominate the last seven games. The Blues have been buzzing with five straight wins and providing plenty of offensive support for Binnington, so hopefully Allen will receive the same luxury during the matinee. It surely won't come easy against a powerful Preds offense.

Allen stopped 22 of 26 shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
St. Louis actually had a 2-1 lead in the latter stages of the second period before the Bruins responded with three goals against Allen, plus an empty-netter. Allen isn't doing a good job of holding off rookie Jordan Binnington's challenge for playing time in the Blues' net, having lost three of his past four starts while allowing 11 goals on just 57 shots in the three losses. Binnington, meanwhile, sports a tidy 1.55 GAA and .937 save percentage through six appearances this season.

Allen will be the starting goalie Thursday versus the Bruins, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has enjoyed more success on the road than at home this season, so starting him in Boston makes sense, though the hosts boast an impressive 16-6-1 home record. The Blues' netminder has not faced the Bruins in 2018-19, but for his career holds a 4-2-0 record in seven appearances. Allen is coming off a win in his last start that saw him make 28 saves and allow only a single goal in a 4-1 road win over the Capitals

Allen will be in net for Monday's road game versus the Capitals, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has one win in his last five starts. Fortunately for his owners, it came against the team he will face Monday. The much-maligned Blues netminder bested the Capitals 5-2 back on Jan. 3. With Monday's game set to take place in Washington, Allen, on paper, figures to receive decent amounts of fantasy interest, considering his home and away splits. For all his 2018-19 struggles, with a road save percentage of .922, Allen has played far better away from home this season. In friendly confines, Allen's save percentage dips to .878.

Allen will protect the home cage in Tuesday's game versus the Stars, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although rookie Jordan Binnington earned a shutout in his first career start Monday versus the Flyers, the Blues will go back to Allen, who will look to put last start's third-period meltdown against the Islanders behind him. Allen is the hallmark of inconsistency, but possibly some competition from a lifelong AHL goalie will light a fuse in his game. The Stars come to town with a stagnant offense that ranks 26th in the league at 2.70 goals per game, so Allen could hold off Binnington a little longer with a strong start here.

Allen allowed four goals on 14 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Allen's team deserved a better fate Saturday, but the Blues netminder wasn't able to close the deal over the final 20 minutes, giving up goals 11 seconds apart in the third period, and in the process, giving away his team's lead. The result moves his record to 14-13-4 with a 3.07 GAA and .898 save percentage.

Allen will be in net Saturday when St. Louis takes on the Islanders, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is coming off a win in his last start and has posted a 3-2-0 record over his past five appearances. He's yet to face the Islanders in 2018-19, but holds a 2-2-0 record in five career starts against the team from Long Island.

Allen turned aside 23 of 25 shots faced during Thursday's 5-2 home win over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Allen now stands at a 2.97 GAA and .900 save percentage behind a 14-12-4 record after securing the victory in his 13th straight start. The Blues may be in the NHL's basement, but the 28-year-old has established himself as the workhorse in St. Louis and carries enough fantasy value to be a serviceable starter in most formats.
