Markstrom allowed three goals on 29 shots in Saturday's loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
It's hard to point the finger at Markstrom, as the Sharks scored a shorthanded breakaway goal and then converted on a penalty shot later in the game. There's reason for concern, however, as Markstrom has lost three of his last four games and given up at least three goals in all of them. Markstrom was simply outdueled by Aaron Dell on Saturday and still owns a .91 save percentage on the season. The Canucks are struggling, so it might be hard for Markstrom to improve his 5-6-2 record until the team starts scoring more.

Markstrom will guard the goal in Saturday's road game against the Sharks, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has struggled recently, posting a 1-2-0 record while registering an ugly 3.35 GAA and .896 save percentage over his last three appearances. The Swedish netminder will look to right the ship Saturday in a favorable road matchup with a Sharks team that's only averaging 2.44 goals per game at home this season, 26th in the NHL.

Markstrom stopped 31 of 35 shots in Thursday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has looked rather shaky in his last three outings, allowing at least three goals in each of them. He can be a valuable fantasy netminder, but his inconsistency is likely frustrating fantasy owners this season. The defense hasn't been playing well front of him and this was his sixth straight start, so don't hesitate to get Markstrom back in your lineup next game. The 27-year-old has come up with some impressive performances this season and is very capable of bouncing back after a less than ideal outing.

Markstrom will man the crease for Thursday's outing against Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Despite strong performances in each of his last five starts -- which has seen Markstrom throw up a 2.19 GAA and .929 save percentage over that span -- the big Swede only has a 2-2-1 record to show for. Markstrom's record has likely fallen victim to the less-than-stellar defensive corps playing in front of him, which will be weakened further by Chris Tanev's (upper body) absence from Thursday's lineup.

Markstrom made 29 saves on 31 shots in Tuesday's win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom needed a bounce-back showing after a loss against Detroit the previous night, and that's exactly what he turned in. It says something about Vancouver's confidence in him when they turned right back to the Swedish netminder in a back-to-back situation. The 27-year-old is really starting to find his groove and has boosted his save percentage to .917 on the season. Thatcher Demko is knocking on the door, but Markstrom's job is secure right now and he's a serviceable fantasy option moving forward.

Markstrom will tend twine Tuesday, with the Canucks on the road to face the Flames, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's worth noting that Markstrom will be less than 24 hours removed from a defeat at the hands of the Red Wings on home ice, but then again, the Flames are only averaging 2.36 goals per game this season to rank 30th in the league. The tie-breaker in terms of deciding whether to start Markstrom could be his history against the fellow Canadian team (1-4-0 record, 3.44 GAA and .886 save percentage). It's probably best to avoid him.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 29 shots during Monday's 3-2 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom allowed two goals or fewer in each of his previous six outings for a .935 save percentage and 1.71 GAA, so a mediocre showing was likely to come sooner than later. However, it's clear that the 27-year-old Swede is locked in as the No. 1 goalie for the Canucks, and there aren't many fantasy settings where he shouldn't be owned. If owners are selective with his matchups, Markstrom has the potential to be a solid asset. Don't forget, it wasn't long ago that he was considered an elite prospect. The 6-foot-6 netminder is quick and could finally be coming into his own at the highest level.

Markstrom will defend the cage for Monday's matchup with Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Now 13 games in to the season, the surprising Canucks own a 7-4-2 record while allowing the second-fewest goals per game in the league, and a huge amount of that success has to be attributed to Markstrom. A 6-foot-6 netminder possessing just as much talent as size, Markstrom has a 2.23 GAA and .921 save percentage in 10 appearances thus far. More impressive, though, has been the level of consistency demonstrated by the Swede. In only two of Markstrom's outings has he allowed more than two goals, and he should be looked upon as an attractive fantasy option Monday when he'll be facing shots from a Detroit squad that ranks 23rd in scoring.

Markstrom made 38 saves on 39 shots in Saturday's win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom allowed a goal to Jake Guentzel in the opening three minutes of the first period, but then shut down the high-octane Penguins the rest of the way. The 27-year-old has been excellent in his last four showings and has boosted his save percentage to .921 on the season. Markstrom is the go-to-guy for a Vancouver squad that has surprised out of the gate this season, so make sure you get him in your lineup when he gets the nod.

Markstrom will start between the pipes in Saturday's home game against the Penguins, Steve Ewen of The Province reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has been dialed in recently, registering an exceptional 1.32 GAA and .947 save percentage over his last three starts, but he's posted a disappointing 1-1-1 record over that span due to a lack of offensive support from his teammates. The Swedish backstop will look to stay sharp Saturday and pick up his fourth win of the campaign in a home matchup with a Pittsburgh team that's gone 4-5-1 on the road this season.
