Eichel went minus-1 with two shots on goal Tuesday in a win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Over the last four games, Eichel has two assists and a minus-5 rating; in the prior seven, he'd put up four goals, 11 points and a plus-1. It's not surprising that inconsistency is the order of the day for the talented, but nonetheless 18-year-old Eichel; he's shown a lot of good signs, but isn't a finished product just yet. Buffalo's mediocre defense and lack of depth on offense aren't helping either.

Eichel scored twice Saturday in a 4-3 loss to the Red Wings. He now has five points (two goals, three assists) on his current three-game point streak.
EDGE Analysis
Since Christmas, Eichel has picked up at least a point in four of his five games and has nine points (four goals, five assists) in those five. And 11 of his 25 points have come in his last seven games (he had 14 in his first 32). Eichel is a special talent who is amping things up in a dramatic way.

Eichel tallied two assists in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
The 2015 second-overall pick is now up to an even 11 goals and 11 assists this year, a total of 22 that puts him fourth among league rookies behind Artemi Panarin, Max Domi and Dylan Larkin. Eichel's caught fire of late, rattling off eight points -- as well as 17 shots on goal -- in the last five games, so you'll definitely want to make sure the kid is kept active while he's rolling.

Eichel recorded his first career four-point game in Saturday's 6-3 win over Boston. He scored two goals and added two assists, and stretched his point streak to three games and six points.
EDGE Analysis
Eichel spent the Christmas break at home which is about 35 miles north of Boston and the home cooking appears to have helped the teenager snap a seven-game goal drought. Either that or Santa left him a snappy new composite twig alongside that ugly Sabres' onesie under his family's tree. Eichel had fallen out of the Calder conversation of late, but that could change in a hurry if his six-day break over Christmas injected real jump in his game.

Eichel contributed an assist -- his first point in 11 days -- in Thursday's 3-0 win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
The much-heralded rookie hadn't found the scoresheet in five games since scoring a goal against Edmonton on Dec. 6, so it's nice to see him show up in the box score again. Nonetheless, this is developing into a disappointing campaign for the 2015 No. 2 pick -- just 15 points in 33 games isn't cutting it in fantasy, and Eichel hasn't had multiple points in a game since way back on Nov. 10.

Eichel will have Kane on his left wing Thursday night against Calgary, reports The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
The two marquee young stars have played on separate lines recently, but after a poor showing in the first two games of their Western Conference road trip, head coach Dan Bylsma has opted to reunite them in an effort to find a spark. Eichel has only two points in his past five games and Kane has failed to capitalize on some scoring chances recently. Captain Brian Gionta will play on the right wing. Calgary has had trouble defending all year and still don't have a clear-cut No. 1 goalie, which means this is a prime opportunity for Kane and Eichel to shine. Both players should be owned across all fantasy formats.

Eichel scored his ninth goal of the season Sunday against Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
The goal came seven minutes into the opening period to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead, though they ended up losing 4-2. Eichel has been exactly as advertised this season, showing off great speed, strength and a sniper's touch with nine goals and 14 points in 27 games this season. His nine goals are tied for the team lead with Ryan O'Reilly. He's worth owning in fantasy and a must-own in keeper leagues.

Eichel found twine in Friday's 4-1 win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie phenom now has a team-high eight goals on the season. One of the many attributes causing hockey fans to drop their jaws when watching Eichel is his sheer hustle and determination. He'll be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

Eichel opened the scoring with a power-play goal and added an assist on Cody Franson's tally in Tuesday's win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
After scoring the Sabres' lone goal in a home loss to Tampa five days earlier, Eichel seemingly came out determined to turn the tables all by himself Tuesday, and it worked. He's now got five points over the course of a three-game point streak, and by all indications, the best is yet to come.

Eichel practiced with Tyler Ennis on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Buffalo's two top offensive players are expected to skate on the same line with Jamie McGinn on the left wing Tuesday against Tampa Bay. Eichel and Ennis displayed fabulous chemistry during the preseason but were separated to provide more balance on the Sabres' top two lines to start the season. Ennis, who previously skated with Ryan O'Reilly, said that he and Eichel play very similar styles and should be able to generate some scoring chances against a tough Lightning squad. This is good news for Eichel, who is coming off a two-assist game against Vancouver. It remains to be seen if the pair will remain together but the scoring creativity that each player brings to the table is undeniable.
