Eichel scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Eichel never really got a shot off on his goal -- he mishandled the puck, but it slipped right through Jeremy Swayman to get Vegas on the board late in the second period. This was Eichel's first home goal as a Golden Knight. He's settled in nicely with two goals, three assists, 23 shots on net and a plus-2 rating in seven appearances, though Vegas has only won twice since he returned from neck surgery.

EDGE Analysis
Eichel set up Chandler Stephenson's breakaway tally to open the scoring. With a goal and three assists in five games, Eichel's settled in nicely with his new team. He also saw 19;48 of ice time, a season high, as Max Pacioretty and Mattias Janmark were both sidelined by undisclosed injuries. Eichel scored a goal on five shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Just a game after Eichel earned his first assist as a Golden Knight, he put away his first goal and logged his first multi-point game. The 25-year-old has a goal and two helpers in three outings, and he's progressively gotten more involved in the offense as he continues to get acclimated to his new team. Fantasy managers should have Eichel activated by now -- he's locked in to a first-line role.

Eichel notched an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis

The 25-year-old has shown the ability to hold his place in the top six, though he's added just two shots on net, a minus-1 rating, two hits and four PIM so far. Eichel (neck) logged 17:32 of ice time, went 8-for-19 on faceoffs and added four PIM in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Eichel's Golden Knights debut ended up being a dud, as Darcy Kuemper posted a 29-save shutout for the Avalanche. It's not all discouraging -- Eichel didn't suffer any setbacks in his first game in nearly a year, and he was able to log top-six minutes. The 25-year-old should continue to play on the top line, though it may take some time for him to mesh with his new teammates after such a long layoff.

Eichel (neck) will be in the lineup against Colorado on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Eichel will be playing in his first game since March 7, 2021, against the Islanders when he was still with the Sabres. While it's hard to know exactly what to expect out of the 25-year-old Massachusetts native the fact remains he has racked up 355 points in 375 career NHL games and should be right around that point-per-game pace once up to full speed. For the Knights, Eichel is set to take on the first-line center role in addition to linking up with the top power-play unit. In a corresponding roster move, Vegas placed Mark Stone (back) on long-term IR in order to give it the cap space to activate Eichel.

Eichel (neck) is expected to be ready to play either Wednesday or Friday versus Colorado or Los Angeles, respectively, Greg Wyshynski of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Before Eichel can get onto the ice, the Knights will have to do some cap gymnastics, which could include placing Mark Stone (back) on long-term IR. Once given the green light, the 25-year-old center figures to immediately slot into both the top line and No. 1 power-play unit where he should offer top-end fantasy value for the back half of the 2021-22 campaign.

EDGE Analysis

Whenever the 25-year-old center is given the green light, he should almost immediately claim a spot on the first line and No. 1 power-play unit where he figures to offer top-end fantasy value.

Eichel (neck) joined his new teammates on the ice in a non-contact jersey for Tuesday's morning skate, The Athletic's Jesse Granger reports.
