The motive for trading Mathieu Perreault on Sunday was pretty obvious: the Washington Capitals wanted to make room for large winger Tom Wilson. Dominating junior-level hockey again wasn't in the best interest of the team or the player, apparently. The 2012 first-rounder (16th overall) might not be ready to dominate offensively at the NHL level just yet, but he's worth monitoring, at least if he can provide some supplementary stats like PIM as a budding power forward.
