The Anaheim Ducks haven't been in contact with George Parros about a possible contract extension. Parros is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. "We're just waiting on a phone call," Parros' agent, George Bazos said. "Normally when you think about re-signing any free agent, it's encumbent of the team to reach out. I don't know when they'll reach out, if at all." Parros had four points and 85 penalty minutes in 46 games in 2011-12.

Ducks' enforcer George Parros was once again a healthy scratch. It was the fourth game in a row and 10th of the Ducks' last 12th that Parros sat in the press box. It goes without saying that his days as a reliable source of penalty minutes are over. In fact, he may have already played his last game in Anaheim as he is an unrestricted free agent as of July 1st.
