Landeskog will have a hearing with the Department of Player Safety for boarding the Blackhawks' Kirby Dach.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog getting handed a suspension by the league would represent a huge loss for the Avs heading into Saturday's clash with St. Louis, especially if the team is without Nathan MacKinnon (COVID-19). The 28-year-old Landeskog racked up two points in the season opener versus Chicago and looks full steam ahead toward another 70-point campaign similar to his 2018-19 season.

Landeskog scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist, doled out three hits, went plus-3 and added six PIM in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
The Avalanche's captain was very involved in this contest, scoring the second goal and setting up Bowen Byram for the third. Landeskog then racked up some PIM after a dangerous hit on the Blackhawks' Kirby Dach late in the third period. Landeskog has always played with an edge -- his 81 hits in 54 games last year marked his lowest total in the category in his career. Expect the Swede to remain entrenched in a top-line role throughout 2021-22, providing a balanced output that gives him strong appeal in roto formats.

Landeskog signed an eight-year contract worth $56 million with the Avalanche on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
It took until just about the deadline for Landeskog to sign a deal at maximum term to stick with the Avalanche. The 28-year-old enjoyed one of his strongest seasons last year, racking up 20 goals and 52 points in only 54 contests. The Swede will likely continue in his top-six role with linemates Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen, which should maintain Landeskog's value as a solid early-to-mid-round option at left wing.

Landeskog has not signed with Seattle ahead of Wednesday night's Expansion Draft, so he won't be selected by the Kraken, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog has made it pretty clear that his preference is to remain with the Avalanche, so it isn't surprising to hear he wasn't able to come to terms on a handshake deal with the Kraken prior to Wednesday night's Expansion Draft. With Landeskog off the table, Joonas Donskoi appears to be the leading Colorado candidate to get snagged by Seattle.

Landeskog was not included on the Avalanche's protection list ahead of the Seattle expansion draft, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With negotiations between Landeskog and the Avalanche not particularly close at this time, it makes sense the team left the unrestricted free agent off the protection list. The Kraken will be allowed an exclusive negotiation period with Landeskog and all other free agents prior to Wednesday's expansion draft, although it's unclear if their is any mutual interest between the two parties at this time. The Swede put up 20 goals and 52 points in 54 contests last season.

Landeskog posted a power-play assist, five shots on goal, two hits and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog helped out on a Mikko Rantanen tally 3:47 into the second period. The 28-year-old Landeskog finished the postseason with 13 points, 23 shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-1 rating in 10 contests. He had just two helpers in the last five games versus Vegas after a three-point burst in Game 1. The Avalanche's captain is eligible for unrestricted free agency this summer.

Landeskog notched a power-play assist, seven hits and two PIM in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog drew the secondary helper on Mikko Rantanen's goal in the third period. The 28-year-old Landeskog saw his seven-game point streak end in a 3-2 win in Game 2, but it didn't take him long to get back on the scoresheet. The Swede has racked up 12 points (four goals, eight assists), 17 shots on net and 19 hits through seven playoff outings.

Landeskog scored two goals, including one on the power play, and added an assist in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Golden Knights in Game 1.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog's first-period tally held as the game-winner. He added a power-play goal and an assist on Nathan MacKinnon's second goal in the second period. In his last seven games, Landeskog has piled up five goals and nine assists. The Swede has thrived in the playoffs, and he should continue to get involved while playing on the Avalanche's talented top line.

Landeskog collected a goal and an assist with three shots and two blocks in Sunday's 5-2 win over St. Louis in Game 4.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog put the Avalanche on top 2-1 with a deflection late in the second period and Colorado would lead the rest of the way. He also set up Mikko Rantanen's third-period goal on a 2-on-1 rush -- a strike that stood as the game-winner. Landeskog was dominant in Colorado's four-game sweep, registering two goals and six assists with a plus-6 rating in the four games. He also had 13 shots on goal and seven PIM.

Landeskog managed an assist, two shots on net, three hits, two blocked shots and two PIM in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blues in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Landeskog is off to a fantastic start in the postseason. He's already amassed a goal, five assists and a plus-5 rating in three games. Outside of scoring, the Swede has 10 shots on net, seven hits and four blocked shots. He's thriving in a top-line role -- Landeskog should remain a popular DFS pick during the Avalanche's playoff run.
