Bourque had his second goal of the year Monday in a 4-2 win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Bourque hasn't suddenly become a scorer, as he's only managed four points this season. This is merely a nice moment for him and his team; it won't make any real impact in fantasy. His value remains nonexistent, even in the deepest of leagues.

Bourque netted his first goal of the season and added a helper in Saturday's win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Bourque found a way to contribute in a lopsided victory, but he isn't of much value in fantasy. The 27-year-old has just three points and 13 shots on goal through 17 games and receives limited minutes in a fourth-line role. Bourque has never surpassed 11 goals in his career, so don't expect many more multi-point efforts from the former Predator.

Bourque has been a healthy scratch in consecutive games after sitting out Thursday's 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old forward has only suited up for 10 games this season and has just a single assist. Until he carves out a role and receives consistent playing time, Bourque is off the fantasy radar.

Bourque has failed to register a point in all seven games this season.
EDGE Analysis
Bourque has played 66 AHL games compared to just 13 in the NHL over the past two seasons, and he hasn't recorded a point at the highest level since Nov. 11, 2015. Currently locked into a depth role with the Avs, it's unlikely the 27-year-old forward shows marked offensive improvement without a promotion up the lineup.

Bourque (upper body) failed to record a point and posted a minus-1 rating in his return to the lineup for Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
The former Nashville Predator had missed each of the team's past two games prior to Saturday and slotted into the fourth line for Rocco Grimaldi. Expect Bourque to continue in this role as the season progresses, as he's more of an energy player and won't provide consistent offensive production.

Bourque (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
It's a rather ominous sign that Bourque's already been placed on IR after leaving Friday evening's game against the Golden Knights. However, the silver lining is that he probably wasn't highly owned in the fantasy realm to begin with. The veteran has been limited to eight NHL games since the start of the 2016-17 campaign with Colorado.

Bourque (upper body) has been ruled out of the remainder of Friday's game against Vegas, Marc Moser of Altitude Sports 950 reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's an unfortunate turn of events for the veteran forward, as he was just recalled from the minors Tuesday, and was playing in his second game of the year Friday. The severity of Bourque's ailment remains unknown, but the Avalanche should release an update on his status ahead of Saturday's game against the Blackhawks.

Bourque was recalled from AHL San Antonio on Sunday, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Colorado dealing with forward injuries from Tyson Jost (lower body) and J.T. Compher (finger), Bourque will likely serve as a depth forward in the time being. The 27-year-old spent the majority of last season in AHL San Antonio, but has shown previously with Colorado and Nashville he can handle a fourth line role.

Bourque was waived by Colorado on Monday, Rick Ralph of TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former Predator showed promise when he entered the NHL, scoring 18 goals in 77 games over his first two seasons, but hasn't produced much in the four campaigns since. Bourque spent most of 2016-17 in the AHL and looks set to do the same this season if he goes unclaimed.

Bourque agreed to terms with the Avalanche on a one-year contract extension Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran was sent to the AHL for 61 games last season, notching 10 goals and 23 assists in the process. While those are decent numbers -- the fact that he toiled in the minors during a season in which the Avalanche experienced a franchise-worst minus-112 goal differential -- it's tough to suddenly get excited about Bourque in any fantasy setting.
