Andersen gave up three goals in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Despite dropping two of his last three starts, Andersen is 4-2-0 in his last six appearances. The Maple Leafs' netminder remains an elite fantasy option in goal and should get a shot at redemption Wednesday versus the Capitals. The Dane won his only other start against Washington this season.

Andersen will face off against the Coyotes on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
In his last start, Andersen earned his first win since returning from injured reserve, making 36 saves on 38 shots against a dangerous Lightning offense. The 29-year-old Dane remains one of the best fantasy goalies in the league, both because of his elite play and Toronto's offensive success.

Andersen turned aside 36 shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
A spectacular game from Andersen, who made some key saves late the middle frame and then shut the door in the third to give Toronto a statement victory over the league leaders. It's his first win since returning from a groin injury that caused him to miss eight games. Andersen's record is now 21-10-1 with a GAA and .923 save percentage. Playing behind an explosive offense, and playing well himself, Andersen is an elite option in goal under any format.

Andersen will start in goal Thursday evening against host Tampa Bay, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen returned from an illness and groin injury Monday against the Avalanche, but to say it was a rude awakening would be putting it mildly, as the sixth-year netminder allowed four goals on 36 shots in the 6-3 loss. Certainly, Andersen won't be able to dwell on that performance with a battle against the league's top offense looming.

Andersen (illness/groin) will tend the twine versus Colorado at home Monday, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will be making his first appearance in the crease since, Dec. 22 when he suffered a groin injury. The Danish netminder was riding a three-game winning streak prior to getting hurt, but will have to shutdown the Avs' potent top line if he wants to extend it to four in a row.

Andersen (illness) was a full participant in Sunday's practice, Kristen Shilton of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen shook a groin injury and was in line to start Saturday versus the Bruins before succumbing to an illness. That flu bug appears to have been minor since Andersen was one of two goalies -- Garret Sparks (concussion) being the other -- on the ice for Sunday's practice. That's a positive sign that Andersen could be available for Monday's home game versus Colorado, so look for him to be activated from injured reserve before that contest.

Andersen will miss practice Saturday due to the flu. The Maple Leafs have called up Kasimir Kaskisuo from AHL Toronto ahead of the evening's home game against the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was holding out hope that he'd be able to return from a groin injury Saturday, but now he's battling the flu to muddle the situation even further. Expect coach Mike Babcock to decide between Michael Hutchinson or Kaskisuo when it comes to the goalie assignment against Boston.

Andersen (groin) previously told reporters he was hoping to play Saturday versus Boston, but may not be in action until Monday's matchup with Colorado according to coach Mike Babcock, Jonas Siegel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Andersen is taking a more optimistic approach to his return timeline, the decision will ultimately be made by Babcock, so perhaps fantasy owners should look to the coach's opinion. Regardless, it will be a situation to monitor leading up to Saturday's meeting with the Bruins. Until Andersen is cleared to play, Michael Hutchinson figures to continue getting the starting nod.

Andersen (groin) hopes to return Saturday against the Bruins, Jonas Siegel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's groin issue has already cost him multiple weeks, but it appears he will wait a bit longer to minimize the risk of reinjury. He should retake his spot as the team's primary netminder when healthy, while Michael Hutchinson, the team's only healthy netminder at the moment, would presumably fall back into backup duties.

Andersen (groin) won't be in the lineup versus Nashville. Coach Mike Babcock told reporters, "I don't know when the other goalies will be back," referring to Andersen and Garret Sparks (concussion).
EDGE Analysis
Andersen had been targeting a return to action versus Vancouver on Saturday, but instead will miss his sixth straight outing Monday. Until the 28-year-old is given the green light to return to the crease, Michael Hutchinson figures to carry the bulk of the load. The Leafs won't play again until Thursday's clash with New Jersey, which gives Andersen some extra time to get back to 100 percent.
