Pinelli was a second-round pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old forward tallied 22 goals and 58 points through 58 games with OHL Kitchener this season. The contract will go into effect during the 2022-23 campaign and he'll need some time with AHL Ontario before making his NHL debut.
